The Little Senju and the Search for Tsunade

Third POV

"That does it!" Naruto declared bursting forward, "I'm done standing around!!!"

Jiraiya quickly made several hand seals while Kisame followed the blond and Izumi stayed slumped onto the floor watching the events before her unfold helplessly. Naruto and Kisame halted to a stop as pink flesh covered the walls and the floor of the hallway.

"What the...?" Naruto inspected his surroundings curiously, "What's going on?!?"

"Ninja art toad mouth trap." the sannin spoke with both his hands placed against the floor as Sasuke disappeared becoming enveloped in the fleshy wall. The flesh then started to take in the akatsuki members aggressively by wrapping itself around their ankles, "You've just been swallowed by the mountain toad." Jiraiya boasted with a satisfied smirk, "Welcome my friends, to the belly of the beast. He has a very sensitive digestive track. Be careful not to upset him!" he warned, "Not the most glorious way to die, now is it? it must be humbling to know that you've been reduced to toad bait!"

"Am I the only one that doesn't talk this much during battle...?" Izumi asked herself as she slowly rose to a sitting position only grumbling slightly at the pain that racked through her body.

The two cloaked ninja broke away sprinting down the hall out of the their sight, "It's useless!" Jiraiya insisted still smiling confidently, "A ninja hasn't been born who can survive this powerful stomach!" the two fled remaining silent as they ignored the white-haired man's warning as said man sent a large mass of flesh after them. Jiraiya's face dropped as a loud bang sounded from where the two had ran off to followed by a gust of cold wind.

"Are you alright, Izumi?" Naruto asked supporting the blue-haired girl who was extremely weak from the encounter still.

"I'm fine... or at least I will after resting for awhile." her view turned toward Sasuke, "I'd be more worried about Uchiha if I was you. He doesn't look good. It must've been some jutsu that his brother used on him..." concern was woken in her voice though she tried to hide it.

Naruto's attention was on Sasuke for only a moment when a kunai whizzed passed them followed by the clicking of someone's sandals on the floor of the hallway.

"Dynamic Entry!!!" Guy declared as he sent a nasty kick directly into Jiraiya laughing slightly before realizing who he'd just attacked, "Uhh... I guess I was a little overenthusiastic..." he apologized, "You see I was trying to hurry and I couldn't see very clearly hahaha...."

Izumi's POV

"I can walk on my own now..." I told Naruto as I removed my arm from his shoulder, "Can't have Tsunade thinking I'm weak after not seeing each other for all these years, "I'm sure as long as we set our minds to it we can find her and have Kakashi Sensei and Sasuke back to normal!" I felt unusually positive and the excitement I felt was unbearable.

"Are you sure?" He questioned giving me a curious stare, "You were pretty worn out earlier..."

"I'm fine now, I promise." A smile tugged on my lips, "Besides I'm a Senju, remember? I'm tough just like the first and second Hokage."

He gave me a reassured nod before turning his attention to Pervert-Chan, "What do those guys want with me anyway?"

"Hmm..." the white-haired man considered for a moment, "Don't get the wrong idea." he smiled, "It's not you they want. It's what's inside of you."

"What the hell is this thing anyway...?" he inquired rubbing his midsection, "Some terrible creature that terrorized the leaf village... That's why everyone's so afraid of it, right? So why do these guys want it so bad?" he was shivering.

"I can answer part of your question..." I spoke up giving him a serious, knowing look, "The nine-tailed fox has appeared in times of consequence all through the ages." I explained in a scholarly way, "A ghastly spirit destroying all that lay in its path. As powerful as any act of nature. Men trembled before it." the thought of the creature left me shivering as well, "As for what those creeps could want with it... I have no idea." I paused wondering if it was okay for me to say what was on my mind, "Perhaps this is unrelated, but I was placed on team seven for two reasons." this seemed to pique the blond's attention, "One, I needed to be around other ninja my own age, which any team could've provided and two, I'm a member of the leaf's prestigious Senju clan and great-grand daughter to Hashirama Senju, the first hokage, who was known for sealing the nine-tails several times... I guess they assumed that I would be just as good at sealing jutsu, but as of yet I've failed at my every attempt, so I know that whoever is doing this must be extremely adept at sealing jutsu and whatever they're planning on doing can't be anything good."

Pervert-Chan nodded slightly in agreement with my explanation, "It is a bitter pill to swallow knowing that those two will be after you from now on, but not to worry! You will have me around!"

"Oh well, I'll just have to hurry up and get stronger!" Naruto grinned while pumping a fist in the air, "No other choice!" the sannin gave him a questioning look, "Let's find this Tsunade woman you're talking about, so that she can fix up Sasuke and we get down to some serious training!!!"
