The Little Senju, a Dragon, and a Job Well Done

Sasuke's POV

As the smoke cleared two girls came into view. One was Izumi and the other was a girl with fiery orange hair and emerald eyes that sparkled as she stared excitedly as my blue-haired teammate. The orange-haired girl donned a long, white robe that stopped just above her bare feet.

"Izumi!" the girl sang wrapping her arms around the shorter girl, "You should've summoned me sooner! I've missed you!"

"Get off of me...!" Izumi sighed not bothering to fight back, "I need your help, so please take this seriously..."

"Who're you?" I asked not sure I wanted to hear the answer.

"Oh? You want to know?" the girl placed a hand on the back of Izumi's head for effect, "I'm Izumi's girlfriend!" she declared with a smirk, "I'm Taki, the water dragon!"

"When was that decided?!?" Izumi exclaimed detaching herself from the dragon girl, "Why aren't you a dragon?"

"This form is more fun...!" the orange-haired girl pouted crossing her arms, "But if that's what you want..."

"It is!"

"Fine...." Taki took a deep breath and made a face like she was concentrating, "I know you'll definitely fall for me later!" the girl was replaced with a dragon with red and orange scales along with a pair of deep green eyes.

"As if..." Izumi retorted leaping onto the reptile's back, "Now, let's get to work!"

Taki's POV

I increased our elevation and my eyes caught sight of Shukaku, the sand spirit, along with a familiar creature that I hadn't seen in a very long time. Gamabunta was currently arguing with a blond-haired kid that I was certain that I had seen before. Waiting for the toad to notice me I flicked out my tongue impatiently.

"Taki?" the toad's eyes raised from the boy to me, "It's been a very long time..." Gamabunta commented as I flapped my scaly wings.

"That's true, but right now really isn't the time..." I put in serious for once as I watched Shukaku who was waving his tail back and forth impatiently. The toad nodded as his attention fell onto the tailed beast and he unsheathed his blade, "Don't leave me out!" I smirked as we bolted forward together. We both made a quick movement leaving Shukaku's arms crashing to the ground. My toad friend landed on the ground with a heavy thump causing the destruction of many trees in his wake before his blade pierced the ground annihilating more of the trees.

"Wait Chief Toad!" the blond broke in with concern laced in his tone, "Don't go over there!" he pointed, "Sakura's still there!"

Something appeared to have been emerging from Shukaku's head as we watched cautiously. In a moment red hair appeared and Gaara appeared to have been slouching over with his legs still within the sandy creature, "To thank you for entertaining me here today..." Gaara grumbled not moving an inch, "I'll show you the true power of the manifestation of the sand." he made a hand sign and raised his hands above his head before saying something that I couldn't understand. He slumped over again this time with closed eyes.

"I'm finally free!" Gaara was no longer in control, "Here I come, baby!" Shukaku laughed raising his head up high, "Here we go! I hope you're ready to die!" he pointed at us, "Let's do this!"

Izumi's POV

"Wind style air bullets!" Shukaku announced sending a blast of air in our direction causing me to wrap my arms around Taki's thick neck and Gamabunta to jump away.

The giant toad then leaped again as he fired a water style attack at the tailed beast, while Taki joined in launching blades of water in the same direction. The Toad and dragon's attacks were easily blocked by a skillfully aimed air bullet from Shukaku.
