Dan and I had been upstairs for a while and after a few minutes I heared the front door slam, so I guessed Kyle and Nina had left.
"It's so freezing in here." I muttered as I began shivering.
Dan walked over to the window and shut it, the wind no longer blowing in the room leaving us in the cold.
"Probably because your clothes are still soaked."
I looked down at my clothes and pulled the jacket further together over my chest. A sigh escaped my mouth as I looked towards Dan.
"Yeah, I suppose I better go home and change.."
"What?"
"Well, I can't stay here all night anyway, and even if I d-"
"Violet, you can use m-"
"I don't want to intrude anyway.." I said sheepishly, turning my body around as I felt Dan's hand on my shoulder.
"Violet..what I'm trying to say is that you can use the shower if you want. And by then your clothes would have probably dried anyway."
"Oh right..okay." I mumbled as I tried to contain my smile.
"And if your clothes haven't dried...well."
"Ugh shutup." I replied, pushing his chest as he laughed, his mouth falling open.
I walked down the hall slowly as Dan's voice stopped me, telling me it was the other way. I turned around as I strolled past him again, seeing him leant against the door frame with his arms crossed.
"And don't come in while I'm in there." I told him as he laughed and nodded.
I laughed along with him, acting like I meant what I had said even though I really meant the exact opposite.
I walked through the bathroom door and shut it behind me, not looking behind as I felt Dan's eyes on my back. I leant my body against it and sighed, moving my damp hair off from my forehead as I shook my head from side to side, laughing a little.
After about a few seconds of standing with my back against the bathroom door, thinking about everything..I stepped into the shower and began to run the boiling hot water. I couldn't get it working for a while as I had never used it before, but after a lot of attempts and contemplating whether or not to ask Dan to help, I managed to figure it out by myself.
The soothing water poured down my back, rinsing me of the cold rain which still remained laced into the roots of my hair. Normally it would take ages to wash but today I didn't seem to mind.

I wrapped a white cotton towel I had found in a cupboard around my body and draped my hair over my shoulder, letting it drip down on to the towel.
I took a quick look in the steamed up mirror and sighed, my collarbones becoming prominent as I breathed in.
Slowly, I walked down the corridor, tightening the towel around my waist. Usually I wouldn't be this nervous approaching Dan, but it was different this time. I mean I was practically half naked, and barely even covered by the towel.
As soon as I opened the door, Dan caught my eye, sat down on the carpet, moving his head from side to side along to the music which was currently playing throughout the room. I smiled a little and walked further inwards as I interrupted him.
"Urm, Dan?"
He turned his head around and looked at me quickly before the music was turned down and he stood up.
"Yeah, sorry..I'll leave you to get changed." He replied, avoiding direct eye contact.
I did a small laugh before Dan attempted to switch the record player off when I stopped him.
