"Lose the attitude!"

"Derek, come feed your girlfriend," Klaus ordered, grabbing Derek by the arm. Ray snarled suddenly, jumping up and running off into the woods. Seraphina and Stefan shared a look, their mouths agape. "Go get him," Klaus ordered, making both Stefan and Seraphina go.

The two soon cornered the rabid hybrid, his eyes darting between the two before he focused on Seraphina, who he bit before running off further into the woods. Seraphina let out a low groan as she fell to her knees, gripping her arm tightly as she watched in horror as the wound grew.

"Phina?" Stefan questioned quietly, his eyes wide with horror as he saw the bite.

"I'm fine," She growled through her teeth, not realizing Klaus had found the two. Seraphina's back was facing Klaus.

"Go after him," Klaus ordered as a whine left Seraphina, tears welling in her eyes. Stefan looked at his sister one last time before jogging away. "Seraphina," He began.

"I said, I'm fine," She spat, whipping her tears and standing up on her feet before following her brother, only to be grabbed by Klaus.

"You can die from this," He reminded, looking at the bite. "You're fine?" He mocked, making Seraphina's nostrils flare. "Are you on a suicide mission I don't know about?"

"If I was, I would've killed myself a long time ago," She snapped, watching Klaus bit his wrist, placing it at her lips for her to drink. She sighed, taking his wrist in her hand, drinking from him.

"I don't want you doing that again," Klaus informed, watching as Seraphina drank from his wrist, his eyes looking her face up and down as a soft moan leaving her throat. "Stefan is here for a reason," He added in as she finished, moving his wrist away from her mouth.

"I want to help. I feel useless just sitting and listening to you two," She explained, wiping her mouth. Klaus chuckled lightly, pressing a tender kiss to her forehead.

"You're not useless. C'mon, let's see where your brother has gone off too," Klaus said, moving his arm to the small of her back, leading her through the woods.

"Where did he go?" Seraphina asked her brother, walking closer to him.

"He uh, he got away. Let's just forget him," Stefan rushes, making Seraphina raise a brow at his tone. "Let's go," He urges, pushing past Seraphina.

"A fatal werewolf bite," Klaus points out, grabbing Stefan's forearm. Seraphina shook her head, seeing her brother had gotten bit. "Ouch."

"Yeah, I'm gonna need your blood to heal me," Stefan mentioned.

"Well, I tell you what," Klaus began. "You find ray, and then I'll heal you," Klaus informed.

"Niklaus," Seraphina scoffed, making Stefan let out a soft scoff as well. "Stop being so stubborn."

"You can't be serious," Stefan grumbled.

"You better hurry, cause that bite looks nasty," Klaus suggested before walking away. "C'mon Sera, I'll need your help," Klaus called, making Seraphina look at her brother slightly before rushing off to follow her husband.

"Bad news, my friend," Klaus said to Derek, who stood like a statue. "End of the road for you," He informed, throwing him to Seraphina, whose eyes turn dark and veins appeared as she grabbed the compelled male, digging her teeth in his flesh.

"Careful, love," Klaus warned the brunette as Seraphina finished off the male, throwing him to the ground. "There's only one alpha here," Klaus reminded as the hybrids all began to corner the two. Seraphina's eyes grew wide as Klaus positioned himself in front of her, his eyes glowing their now yellow hue. "Bloody hell."

"Klaus," Seraphina dragged gripping the back of his shirt tightly.

"Nothing is going to happen to you love, trust me."

Stefan strolled in the campsite, Ray's body across his shoulders. Seraphina perked up slightly at the sight of her brother as she sat beside a slightly pouting Klaus.

"They went rabid," Klaus spoke to Stefan as he laid Ray's body down on the ground. "Some of them I killed, the others just...bled out," Klaus explained as Stefan looked around the campsite.

"In the end," Klaus continued on. "They're all dead," Klaus said as he stood in front of Stefan. His nostrils flared before he yelled out, throwing his beer bottle in the woods. Seraphina jumped as the bottle whizzed by her head. She shook her head, finishing her beer.

"I did everything I was told!" Klaus screamed. "I should be able to turn them," He growled. "I broke the curse. I killed a werewolf, I killed a vampire, I killed the doppelganger," He ranted before pausing, looking at Stefan. "You look like hell," He commented.

"Last time I checked, I'm dying," Stefan grumbled. "And you don't want to heal me," He mumbled, showing Klaus his wound. "I had to take him out," Stefan informed, noticing Klaus looking at Ray. "I didn't have a choice," He added in. "I failed you, I'm sorry," Stefan continued, walking closer to Klaus. "Do what you have to do."

"It should've worked," Klaus said, turning and walking away from Stefan and towards Seraphina. Klaus grabbed an empty beer bottle, bitting the inside of his wrist, letting the blood drip into the bottle.

"Bottoms up," Klaus said, holding the bottle towards Stefan. Stefan took the bottle hesitantly, watching Klaus.

"We're leaving," Klaus added, walking towards Seraphina again. "It appears you and Seraphina are the only comrades I have left," Klaus said as Seraphina stood up. Seraphina gave him a soft smile, grabbing his hand and giving it a reassuring squeeze. Klaus smiled at her, pressing a kiss to her forehead before leading the way back to their car.

"Where to next?" Seraphina asked as Klaus drove.

"Chicago," He replied softly, looking in the rearview mirror to see Stefan asleep, making her eyebrows furrow. "I have to see what I'm going wrong with the hybrids."

"Oh, why not New Orleans?" She grinned at him.

"We'll be there soon, don't worry." He paused, grabbing her hand and pressing a kiss to the back of her hand. "Stefan's hiding something," He added, making Seraphina look at him. "I don't know what, but I'm going to find out."

uh oh, Klaus knows something is off, will Seraphina tell him?
