"Evening, Elijah."

"Niklaus," Elijah spoke, his eyes widening at the sight of Seraphina. She furrowed her eyes a bit, confused by his reaction.

"What an entirely unwelcome surprise," Klaus grumbled, looking over at Seraphina, who just gave him a small smile.

"And what an entirely unsurprisingly welcome," Elijah countered. "Come with me."

"I'm not going anywhere," Klaus snapped. "Not until I find out who's conspiring against me."

"I believe I just found that out for you."

"This cemetery always creeped me out," Seraphina mumbled as the three walked into the famous cemetery, both Klaus and Elijah let out a chuckle.

"Scared the undead is going to come after you?" Klaus teased, tickling her sides lightly, making her swat his hand away. "What are we doing here?" Klaus questioned his brother.

"You wanna know what the witches have in store for you?" Elijah questioned. "Follow me."

"Sophie Deveraux," Klaus greeted as the three walked into a tomb. "What is this?" He questioned.

"He's all yours," Elijah said to Sophie as he grabbed Seraphina, his hand gripping her bicep. "Proceed."

"You know you're famous in this town?" Sophie questioned. "Witches tell bedtime stories about the powerful vampire Klaus," She added. "We know Marcel was nothing but an orphaned street rat until you made him what he is, same with your wife," Seraphina tried to lunge at the girl, making Elijah pull her to him.

"And now, Marcel is out of control. He does what he wants. He kills who he wants. I'm gonna stop him," She explained. "And you're gonna help me."

Klaus held up a finger, a grin on his face as he looked at his brother. "This is why you bright me here?" He questioned him.

"Hear her out," Elijah suggested.

"I don't need to hear her out?" Klaus replied. "I assure you, love, there is nothing a thing on this Earth besides Seraphina that will matter enough for me to waste even 30 more seconds of my time," Klaus ranted. "Elijah, what madness is this?"

"Klaus," A new female voice spoke, making Seraphina turn, seeing another brunette walk into the tomb, witches flanking her. "You need to listen to them," She urged, making Klaus laugh. Seraphina turned to Elijah, who gave her a sad smile.

Seraphina's' stomach turned as she heard a new, faint heartbeat.

"You're all out of your minds if you think some liquor-fueled one-night stand -"

"He cheated on me," Seraphina whispered. As she spoke the words, her whole body felt numb.

"No offense, sweetheart, means a thing to me."

"Marcel may be able to keep us from practicing real magic in this town, but as keepers it the balance we still know when nature has cooked up something new." Sophie paused, watching Seraphina's reaction.

"For example — I have a special gift for sensing when a girl is pregnant," Sophie explained.

"What?" Klaus whispered.

"I know. It's impossible," Hayley mentioned, making Seraphina glare at the wolf.

"Niklaus," Seraphina spoke, her voice cold as she looked at her husband. "She's carrying your child." She snapped, her jaw clenching.

"No. It's impossible," Klaus argued. "Vampires cannot procreate."

"But werewolves can," Sophie reminded. "Magic made you a vampire, but you were born a werewolf." Klaus turned to look at Sophie. "You're the original hybrid, the first of your kind, and this pregnancy is one of nature's loopholes."

"You've been with someone else. Admit it!" Klaus accused Hayley, bounding towards her, making Elijah hold him back with his free hand.

"Hey, I've spent days held captive in a freakin' alligator bayou because they think that I'm carrying some miracle baby," Hayley snapped. "Don't you think I would've ceased up if it wasn't yours?" She questioned him.

"My sister gave her life to perform the spell she needed to confirm this pregnancy," Sophie added, making Seraphina scoff and roll her eyes. "Because of Jane-Anne's sacrifice, the lives of this girl and her baby are now controlled by us," She explained. "If you don't help us take down Marcel, so help me Hayley won't live long enough to see her first maternity dress."

"Wait, what?" Hayley questioned.

Seraphina's emotions began to take over, anger, sadness, betrayal. Tears streamed down her face. She wanted the emotions to end.

She wanted to turn it off.

"Enough of this, if you want Marcel dead, he's dead. I'll do it myself," Elijah spoke, his eyes on Seraphina as she stayed perfectly still.

"No, we can't. Not yet," Sophia spoke, ignoring Seraphina. "We have a clear plan that we need to follow and there are rules."

"How dare you command me?" Klaus questioned Sophie. "Threaten me with that you wrongfully perceive to be my weakness?  I won't hear anymore lies," He yelled as he walked past Elijah.

"Niklaus," Elijah called, making him pause. "Listen." Seraphina let out a small sob as she heard the heartbeat again. She couldn't handle this.

"Kill her and the baby." Klaus looked only at Seraphina, whose eyes were now glazed over, her body relaxing after a moment. "Seraphina," Klaus called.

"Well," Seraphina began.

"You didn't." Klaus hoped. She pursed her lips, trying to hide the sarcastic smile that was playing on them.

"Oh, God." Elijah and Klaus said in unison.

Seraphina had never turned her emotions off before since she had never done it, Elijah and Klaus were worried she was about to become a ripper like Stefan.

"Oh God," Seraphina laughed mockingly. "Maybe if someone didn't stick his penis where it didn't belong we wouldn't be in this situation." She smiled, giving Klaus a wink. "Now, I'm going to go on my merry way, I'll see you guys — never again."

she turned her emotions off 😳

Is Seraphina going to be like Stefan or Damon with her emotions off??

Stay tuned!!
