"Rosalind Lenox, I presume."

"How do you know about me?" Rosalind snarled, stomping over towards her.

"Whoa!" Seraphina yelled, holding her hands up in defense, making Rosalind stop. "I've done my research," She breathed, making Rosalind raise a brow. "I have a direct link to Elijah, he and I are almost like siblings."

"Who are you?" Rosalind questioned Seraphina.

"Seraphina Salvatore," She introduced.

"Ah, Damon and Stefan," Rosalind sighed, walking away from Seraphina. "You favor Damon."

"He's better than Stefan, most everyone thinks I lie when I say that," Seraphina mumbled. Rosalind chuckled.

"He is the nicest Salvatore." Rosalind smiled, looking at Seraphina. "What can I do for you?"

"Elijah and I came down here looking for you -"

"Yes I'm aware of that," Rosalind interrupted. "You put Sam and Peter through the wringer." She laughed, making Seraphina smirk.

"I stole the files to look for you. I want him to be happy. As I said, he's like a brother to me." Seraphina said. "Elijah and I had fun messing with them by the way."

"Are you going to tell him you found me?" Rosalind questioned, pouring two glasses of bourbon. "I haven't seen Elijah since the day I left."

"I won't tell him," Seraphina rushed, making Rosalind nod. "Not until you're ready, of course," She added. Seraphina pursed her lips, grabbing a napkin and pulling out a pen. "This." Seraphina began writing down numbers. "Is my number, call me when you're ready to talk to him." Seraphina handed her the napkin as her phone vibrated. She looked at it, seeing it was Klaus.

"Hello," She spoke as she answered the phone, Rosalind's eyes on Seraphina.

"Where are you?" He questioned, making Seraphina hum. "Are you okay?"

"I'm okay." Seraphina waved goodbye to Rosalind, making her way towards the door. "Where are you?"

"Making my way to the bar where Jane-Anne's sister works. I want to know what the witches have against me," He explained.

"Message me the address and I'll be there shortly," Seraphina said as she walked out the bar, looking around the street.

"I see you brought friends," Sophie snapped as she saw two of Marcel's vampires walk in, along with Seraphina.

"Only one is with me," Klaus explained as Seraphina made her way to him.

"But they're with Marcel, that's all that matters," The witch spoke. "I know you built this town, but this is his town now," Sophie explained. "He killed my sister because she broke the rules." She paused. "So I talk to you in front of them — I'm next," She whispered before turning back to what she was doing. Klaus's jaw clenched, making him turn around,
Seraphina following behind him. Klaus walked up to the two vampires, grabbing them by the shoulders.

"Are you two gentlemen following me?" Klaus questioned them.

"Marcel said we're your guide," One spoke, making Seraphina scoff.

"Oh he did, did he? He did," Klaus laughed sarcastically. "Well, then let me be exceedingly clear about something. If either of you follows me and Seraphina again, you'll do so without the benefit of a spine," Klaus threatened, making Seraphina kick his leg as the bartender came up.

"Sorry for the wait, if you're here for the gumbo, I'm about to break your heart," The blonde spoke. "We just ran out." Klaus pulled out his wallet, pulling out a hundred dollar bill, placing it on the bar.

"Your oldest scotch, for my two friends here, love." Klaus smiled, making the bartender walk off, only for Klaus to find his hands back on their shoulders. "If Marcel wants to know what I'm up to he can ask me himself," Klaus finished, letting go of their shoulders and grabbing Seraphina's hand, pulling her out of the bar.

"Where's Marcel?" Klaus questioned.

"And who the hell's asking?" The vampire he questioned countered, making Seraphina raise a brow.

"I'm assuming you're joking," Seraphina spoke, making the vampire look at her. "God, I hate the new age vampires with their attitudes," She scoffed.

"I only answer to Marcel," He snapped back at Seraphina.

"Well, then in that case, perhaps you'll answer to this." Klaus grabbed the vampire by the neck. "You're aware the bite of a werewolf can kill a vampire?" He questioned the vampire, his eyes changing to their amber color. "Well, as you can see, I'm half-werewolf, do I'm gonna ask you one more time! Where is Marcel?" Klaus boomed, tightening his hold.

"Hey-hey! I'm right here!" Marcel rushed in, grabbing Klaus's hand from the vampire's neck. "I'm right here, easy now," Marcel said, hoping to calm Klaus down. "Diego's just looking out for me," He explained. "Nobody harms my guys, those are the rules."

"I don't care about your rules, Marcel," Klaus gripped. "And I don't need chaperones. Why are you having me followed?" Klaus questioned. Marcel looked at the two vampires flanking his sides, making him pull Klaus and Seraphina away from them.

"I get it, huh? Show of force. You made your point," Marcel said. "Let us go, friend, huh? For me," Marcel added, making Seraphina scoff and roll her eyes. She didn't like this new power-hungry Marcel.

"Fine," Klaus snapped. "Why don't you show us what you've done with the place — while you explain exactly what it is you've been up to in my town?" Klaus suggested. Marcel chuckled and grinned, looking at the couple.

"Follow me." Marcel led the two up the steps, Klaus's hand latch onto Seraphina's. The three made it to a balcony that looked over the bustling street below them.

"Look at the skyline," Marcel sighed. "That there, that's progress. More hotels, more tourists, more fresh blood," Marcel explained. "And the humans? I taught them to look the other way."

"And what about the witches?" Klaus questioned. "In my time, they were a force to be reckoned with and now they live in fear." Klaus paused. "How do you know when they're using magic?"

"Maybe I got a secret weapon," Marcel joked. "An ace up my sleeve, you know. Something that gives me complete control over all the magic in this town."

"Is that a fact?" Klaus questioned.

"Might be, or maybe I'm just bluffing," Marcel said, pulling out a capsule of vervain, the hiss of it burning his lip was heard in the silence.

"You take vervain?" Klaus questioned.

"Burns like a bitch," Marcel replied. "But I figure I should limit the number of things I'm vulnerable too." Silence fell over the three for a moment, Seraphina taking in how much New Orleans has changed since she arrived in 1864. "Don't be mad about that chaperone thing," Marcel commented. "I told my guys to look for you, that's all," He continued. "That's what we do here — look out for each other." A hum left Marcel's lips as he spotted the bartender from earlier walking down the alleyway.

"The bartender," Klaus commented. "Walking alone at night. She's either brave or dumb."

"Let's see, brave, I let her live. Dumb, she's dessert," Marcel said, hoisting himself over the balcony fence and onto the street.

"Evening, Elijah."
