"Niklaus, our guests have arrived," Elijah called.

"Are you going to play nice?" Klaus questioned Seraphina, making her nod her head. "Promise?" He added in, making her nod her head again. He smiled, pressing a kiss to her temple as Damon and Stefan walked into the room.

"Damon, Stefan. Elijah tells me you seek an audience. Very bold," Klaus said. "Let's discuss the terms of our agreement like civilized men, shall we?" Klaus suggested.

"It's better to indulge him," Elijah mumbled to the brothers.

"Seraphina leaves, I don't want to hear her mouth when we're making the deal," Stefan grunted, making Seraphina's jaw clench and nostrils flare. She looked at Klaus, her eyebrow raised.

"She's promised to keep quiet," Klaus informed, making her look at her brothers.

"She's a part of this more than you think," Elijah added in, making Stefan look at his sister.

"Fine," He grumbled, making Seraphina turn on her heel, walking further into the room.

"She hates you," Damon whispered to Stefan, making him roll his eyes.

"You helped me put her in the coffin," Stefan reminded as they were led where Seraphina was. "I didn't, uh, come here to eat, Klaus," Stefan informed as he caught sight of the dinner table. "In fact, I didn't want to come here at all," He added in. "But, I was told I had to, because you would hear us out."

"Hmm, well, we can sit and eat, or I can reach down your throats and pull out your insides; the choice is yours," Klaus said. "If you choose the later, I might just have Seraphina do it, she's full of rage at the moment," Klaus grinned.

"You lost your appetite," Klaus commented.

"Eat, I thought that we agreed that we would leave grumpy Stefan at home," Damon said to Stefan.

"That's the spirit. Isn't this nice? The four of us dining together. Such a treat," Klaus sighed. "Is this what you had in mind when you pulled the dagger out of my brother?" Klaus questioned Damon.

"Well, I know what he felt about you, so I figured, the more - the merrier."

"Well, Elijah and I have our share of quarrels over the centuries, but we always make it through," Klaus explained.

"Kind of like, uh, you and Rebekah, right?" Stefan questioned. "Where is she, by the way? Last I checked, she was still daggered because you were afraid to face her," Stefan said.

"If you're referring to the fact that Rebekah knows I killed our mother, I've already come clean to Elijah," Klaus informed.

"Hey, Stef, remember when you killed dad? Might want to dial down the judgment till dessert," Damon mentioned, making Seraphina look at her brother.

"You killed dad?" She growled, her eyes trained on Stefan.

"Seraphina," Klaus called, making her turn her head to him. He smirked, putting his finger to his lips, making her jaw clench. Stefan and Damon watched in almost amazement as she sighed in defeat, looking down at her plate.

"We're here to make a deal, Damon," Stefan finally spoke. "Doesn't mean we need to kiss his ass for seven courses," He added in.

"I'm just saying, we have a long evening ahead of us, pace yourself."

"Stefan, where is the lovely Elena tonight?" Elijah questioned him, Seraphina lifted her head back up, looked at her brothers, her eyes going in between the two.

"I don't know, ask Damon," Stefan snapped, making Klaus chuckle lightly.

"I'm sorry, you missed so much," Klaus chuckled. "Trouble in paradise," Klaus informed the two.

"One more word, about Elena, and uh, this dinner is over," Stefan said, making Seraphina roll her eyes, her patience wearing thin with her brother's attitude. Klaus noticed her annoyance, making him place his hand on her thigh, squeezing it lightly.

"You know what, probably best just to keep Elena in the do not discuss pile," Damon announced.

"You're probably right."

"Yeah," Damon whispered.

"It's just the allure of the Petrova's doppelganger is still so strong, what do you say, brother?" Klaus questioned. "Should we tell them about Tatia?" Klaus pondered.

"Now, why should we discuss matters long since resolved?" Elijah questioned in annoyance.

"I agree with Elijah, why dig up the already buried past?" Seraphina questioned Klaus.

"Well, given their shared affection for both Elena and Katerina, I think our guests might be curious to learn about the originator of the Petrova line," Klaus explained to the questioning pair. Seraphina sank further into the chair she was sitting in, letting out a sigh.

"Well, we're not going anywhere, Elijah, please do tell," Damon said, taking a sip of wine.

"When our family first settled here, there was a girl named Tatia, she was an exquisite beauty," Elijah began. "Every boy of age desires to be her suitor. Even though she had a child by another man and none loved her more than Niklaus," Elijah continued, glancing at Seraphina, who looked at him as she sipped on wine.

Seraphina had only heard this story once, it made her feel replaceable. She knew that Klaus had seen other women the way he saw her now, but nonetheless she still hated this story.

"Oh, I'd say there was one who loved her at least as much," Klaus interjected.

"Wait a minute, so you both loved the same girl?" Stefan questioned, a chuckle leaving his lips.

"Our mother was a very powerful witch, she sought to end our feud over Tatia, and so she took her," Elijah said. "and Klaus and I would later learn that it was Tatia's blood that we consumed in the wine on the night where our mother performed the spell which turned us into vampires," Elijah explained. "Tatia wouldn't make a decision between the two of us, so for a time, Niklaus and I grew estranged. Harsh words were traded, we even came to blows, didn't we brother?" Elijah said, looking at Klaus.

"But in the end, we recognize the sacred bond of family," Klaus added.

"Family above all," Elijah said, grabbing his wine glass.

"Family above all," Klaus repeated as the two clinked wine glasses.

i honestly love seraphina too much.
