"Mr. Busybody guy."

"Did you do it?" Elena accused as she came up to Damon and Seraphina.

"That seat's taken," Damon mentioned as Seraphina's phone rang.

"You can take mine," She said, grabbing her phone and walking out of Mystic Grill. "Hello Eli, how's the leads coming?" She questioned, leaning against the brick wall.

"Would be better if I had my right hand woman scaring people," He said, making Seraphina scoff lightly. "But overall, found out some amazing information about her."

"Care to tell me? Or leave me hanging?" She asked him.

"Leave you hanging, you'll find out when you get here," He said, making her sigh.

"Yeah, I don't know when that'll be Eli. I have a funeral to go too, since Damon and Stefan decided to out me as the long lost Salvatore," She grumbled.

"Oh yes, I heard about the explosion, who caused it?" He questioned.

"That's the thing, the police have no suspect, and Elena's a vampire," She added. "Stefan has her on his bunny diet, and she's probably going to go crazy baby vamp soon." Elijah sighed at the news, making Seraphina scrunch her nose.

"That's so sad about Elena, she had such a future," He spoke, making her hum in agreement.

"Hey, we need to go," Damon said as he stood in front of her. She nodded, watching him walk to his car.

"Elijah, I'll be there soon, if I'm not, it's because of your spoiled brother."

--

"I'm here, I'm here," Damon repeated as he and Seraphina rushed through the church parking lot. "Where are you?" He questioned, looking at Seraphina to see if she was still with him. "Not yet," He spoke after a pause, both of them picking up the pace slightly as they made it into the church.

"Oh, you again," Damon said as he and Seraphina got to the basement restroom. Damon pushed the bag with Elena's new dress into Seraphina's hand, making her scoff lightly. "Stalking small-town funerals?" He questioned as Seraphina knocked on the restroom door.

"Oh, Seraphina," Elena sighed as she opened the door. "Thank God."

"Let me in, I'll help you," Seraphina whispered, blocking Connor for seeing what had actually happened. "She spilled coffee all over her dress," She explained to Connor, giving him a smile before Elena let her slide into the room. Elena grabbed the beige bag while Seraphina cleaned up what Elena had missed.

"Everything okay in there?" Damon called.

"Yeah!" Elena stuttered. "Just a minute!" She added. Seraphina stuffed the blood soaked towels in the bag, sighing once she was finished. Seraphina washed her hands quickly and zipped up Elena's dress. Elena flushed the toilet, making Seraphina open the door.

"I'm so sorry that it took so long," Elena apologized to Connor.

"No problem," He assured, looking at the three.

"Well, enjoy your stay," Seraphina said, grabbing the bag from Elena and making her way up the steps.

"We love visitors, and the scenery is to die for," Damon added in, a sarcastic gasp escaping his lips. "Funeral pun, too soon." He sighed, grabbing Elena and pulling her up the steps, following Seraphina out the door.

"Did you bring the blood bag?" Elena questioned loudly, making Seraphina turn on her heels, looking at her brother.

"Do you want to say that louder?" He questioned her as they made it a tree, concealing them from the church entrance. Damon grabbed the bag from Seraphina, who looked around. Damon fished the blood bag out of the bag, handing it to Elena. She opened it quickly, drinking it. Elena let out a soft moan in relief before she began gagging, spitting out the blood.

"Elena," Damon whispered in concern, grabbing the bag.

"No, I can't," She whined. "It tastes like -- what is wrong with me?" She wondered as Damon wiped the blood from her chin.

"I don't know," He admitted softly. "Maybe it's your doppelganger blood, you're rejecting the transition."

"I'm dying, aren't I?" Elena whimpered.

"No, you're not dying," Damon assured. "You just need to drink from the vein."

"No. No, no. I can't risk killing anyone, Damon," She reminded. "Maybe I'm better off dead."

"Don't even think like that, Elena," Damon grunted, grabbing her arms.

"Elena," Seraphina said softly, getting closer to the two. "You'll get through this."

"You'll be fine," Damon added in. "Okay?" The church bells began to ring, making Seraphina hum.

"I have to get back inside," Elena mumbled, leaving the siblings at the tree. Damon grabbed the blood bag off the ground, stuffing it back into the bag.

"Oh great," Damon grumbled as he stood back up, seeing Stefan walking towards them. Damon turned around, walking to catch up with Seraphina.

"What's in the bag, Damon?" Stefan questioned, making Damon scoff as he and Seraphina stopped.

"Mid-service snack. Church always gets me hungry," He replied. "The whole blood fo Christ thing, you know." He and Stefan shared a look before he sighed lightly. "I brought it for Elena," He admitted.

"You're really that intent on having your way?" Stefan questioned his brother, making Seraphina roll her eyes.

"It's not my way, it's the only way," Damon stated.

"If she hurts someone, she'll be desperate to turn the guilt off," Stefan reminded. "Maybe even desperate enough to shut off her humanity."

"What, and become a Ripper?" Damon questioned.

"You know, I killed someone the first time I fed and I was guilty, but not guilty enough to turn it off," Seraphina informed.

"We can't let her be anything like me," Stefan told.

"Or God forbid she's anything like me."

"How about like me, hmm?" Seraphina questioned, earning a glare from both of them.

"You're just as bad as Klaus," Damon spat, making Seraphina raise a brow.

"If I was just as bad as him I would've ripped her heart out in the restroom earlier," Seraphina stated, making Damon look at her. "I've been wanting to kill her for a long time."
