"How did you find a witch willing to make daylight rings?"
"I got witches here wrapped around my finger," Marcel bragged, making Klaus chuckle, glancing at Seraphina.
"Is that so?" He questioned as Marcel took his shot. "I'm looking for a witch by the name of Jane-Anne Deveraux," Klaus explained. "Had some business with me," He quoted Katherine's letter.
"Looking for Jane-Anne?" Marcel questioned. "Then you probably oughta come with me." Marcel stood up, a laugh escaping his lips. "Showtime!"

Vampires filled the street as Marcel led Klaus and Seraphina out of the bar, nighttime had fallen, making all the night-walkers revel in the darkness.
"Well, how's your family?" Marcel questioned Klaus.
"Those who live hate me more than ever," Klaus replied.
"Well, forget 'em. If your blood relations let you down, you make your own, huh?" Marcel said. "You taught me that," He added it. "And what's mine is yours, as always." Marcel gestured to everything going on as they walked down the street. "Even my night-walkers, the riff-raff."
"They're hardly subtle," Seraphina said to no one in particular as she looked around. Klaus grabbed her hand, pulling her closer to him.
"It's the Quarter," Marcel reminded her. "Ain't no such thing as subtle, baby." Marcel smiled, making Seraphina's grip tighten as he whistled, making all the vampires on the street cheer. Soon, one of the vampires brought out a girl, her hands tied together.
"Jane-Anne Deveraux!" Marcel exclaimed. "Give it up for Jane-Anne!" He yelled, making all the vampires cheer. "Jane-Anne Deveraux, you have been accused of the practice of witchcraft 'beyond the bounds of the rules' set forth and enforced, by me," He spoke. "How do you plead? Oh." Marcel turned around, stepping closer to Klaus and Seraphina. "Was that convincing?" He questioned. "I studied law back in the '50s," He added in. "Hold that thought. Seriously. Jane, tick-tock."
Marcel walked back up to the witch. "You know the drill. How do you plead?" He questioned her.
"I didn't do anything," She snapped, causing all the vampires to talk amongst themselves as Marcel gave a disapproving hum, shaking his head as he did so.
"That's a lie!" Marcel yelled. "You know it, I know it, and you hate that I know it!" Marcel boomed. "It drives you witches crazy that I'm aware of your every move, that you can't do magic in this town, without getting caught!" Marcel paused, Klaus and Seraphina looking at each other. Klaus pulled Seraphina closer, wrapping his arms around her. "So, why don't we just cut to the chase, huh?" Marcel suggested. "You tell me what magic you're brewing. I mean, tell me. I'll grant you leniency," He offered. "Hey, I am, after all, a merciful man."
A light scoff escaped Jane-Anne. "Rot in hell, monster," She sneered, a gasp leaving the crowd.
"I'll tell you what," Marcel spoke after a pause. "I'll give you one more chance." Marcel turned around, only whip the vine he had in his hand, slashing the witch's throat.
"Oh my God," Seraphina whispered in horror, turning her head to look at Klaus.
"Or not," Marcel said. A thump echoed through the street as the body fell to the ground, making the crowd cheer.
"Shh, darling," Klaus hummed, pressing a kiss to her temple, the two of them staying still as everyone else jumped around, Klaus' eyes trained on the bleeding witch. Seraphina pulled her hand out of Klaus', making her way to Marcel.
"What the hell was that?" She growled, shoving Marcel.
"Hey," He growled lightly at her as Klaus pulled her away from him. "Come walk with me," He said, making the two follow him away from the crowd. "Witches aren't allowed to do magic here. She broke the rules."
"I told you I wanted to talk to her," Klaus growled out, him and Seraphina walking away from Marcel.
"Hey, I'm sorry," Marcel apologized. "I got caught up in the show," He explained, making Klaus and Seraphina turn around. "Those witches, they think that they still have power in this town. I have to show them that they don't," He said. "I never wasted an opportunity for a show of force. Another lesson that I learned from you." Marcel and Klaus shared a look. "And besides, anything you could've gotten from her — I can find out for you, and I will. I promise."
"Well, whatever it was, doesn't matter anymore, does it?" Klaus spoke after a moment, a grin appearing on his face as he looked at Marcel.
"Good, good, then let's eat, because all that spilled blood makes me hungry." Marcel laughed, making Klaus look at Seraphina.
"You go on, I'm going to look at some things," She mumbled, making Klaus raise a brow. "I promise I'll call if I'm in any danger," She added in, pressing a kiss to his cheek. Klaus smiled, pressing a kiss to her lips before letting her walk away from him.

"Hello!" Seraphina called as she walked into the empty bar. How she got into the building was beyond her.
"You know, trespassing is a crime," An accented voice commented, making Seraphina turn her body in the direction the voice was coming from.
"The door was unlocked," Seraphina countered, making the woman hum. "And I was looking for someone," She added. A click was heard as the woman turned on the lights, making Seraphina close her eyes.
"Who are you looking for?" The woman questioned, she sat on the bar, a pair of skin-tight jeans and a loose white button-up on her figure.
"Well, it's a long story," Seraphina began, walking closer to the woman. "Elijah's betrothed, unknown original." Seraphina stopped, looking at the woman, gauging her reaction. "Rosalind Lenox, I presume."
Rosalind is here :)))
