"Be careful what you wish for."
"Elijah, what the hell are you thinking?" Seraphina asked her after they fell through the hole he had made.
"I need help, and you know what will get your brothers to help me." Elijah looked at Seraphina, who rolled her eyes at him.
"You make me want to claw my eyes out or something," She groaned.
"Stay here, I'll call Rebekah and she'll be back up." Before Seraphina could speak, Elijah left the two, making Seraphina clench her jaw.
--
"All right, love, now look into the camera," Rebekah called to Elena.
"What are you doing?" Elena questioned.
"Shooting your picture to inspire your boyfriends," Rebekah responded, making Seraphina roll her eyes lightly as she perched herself on a rock, watching the blonde and brunette. "Why don't you tell them how delightful it is being stuck in a hole with your two biggest fans?" Rebekah suggested.
"I guess you two think I had this coming, huh?" Elena questioned Rebekah. "After what I did to you."
"You know, I don't know what I want more, to find out we're saved or to find out it's alright to kill you," Rebekah grinned.
"This isn't my fault," Elena argued. "I wanted to get rid of Klaus."
"Technically, it is. If you didn't meet with Esther she wouldn't have gotten your blood to do the spell," Seraphina pointed out, making Elena look at her. "And getting rid of Klaus won't solve your problems. I'd become the new one," Seraphina growled, giving Elena a smirk.
"I didn't know that your mom was planning on killing you all," Elena spoke.
"Do you think I want to spend what could be the last few hours of my life having idle chitchat with a girl who literally stabbed me in the back?" Rebekah questioned. "Of course not, but for some reason, everybody seems to want to bend over backward to save your life --"
"Which is incredibly annoying," Seraphina interjected.
"But makes you the perfect hostage." Rebekah finished her rant. "So why don't you sit down and shut up before I ruin everything by ripping your head off."
--
Seraphina climbed out of the hole Elijah made earlier, leaving Rebekah to handle Elena after she decided to pour gasoline all over the cavern.
"They're coming, mother," Finn announced. Seraphina hummed lightly, perching herself into a tree, one closer to the old home that was full of the witch ancestors. Finn stood in a pentagram made out of salt, five torches ablaze around him.
"No, it's too soon," Esther panicked. "The moon is not high enough, go quickly," She rushed, motioning for the Bennett witches to leave as Elijah, Kol, and Klaus arrived at the clearing. "My sons, come forward."
"Stay beside me," Finn said, extending his arm in front of her.
"It's okay," She spoke. "They can't enter," She assured, grabbing Finn's stretched out hand. Kol walked closer, the fire blaze only going higher.
"That's lovely," Kol muttered. "We're stuck out here while the favorite son plays sacrificial lamb. How pathetic you are, Finn," Kol spat.
"Be quiet, Kol," Esther chastised. "Your brother knows virtue you cannot even imagine."
"Whatever you think of us, killing your own children would be an atrocity," Elijah spat.
"My own regret is that I did not let you die a thousand years ago," Esther informed.
"Enough," Klaus began. "All this talk is boring, end this now, mother," He sneered. "Or I'll send you back to hell."
"For a thousand years, I've been forced to watch you, felt the pain of every victim, suffered while you shed blood. Even you, Elijah, with your claim to nobility, you're no better," Esther spoke. "All of you, you're a curse on this Earth, stretched out over generations," Esther added, making Seraphina growl under her breath.
"If you've come to plead for your life, I'm sorry. You've wasted your time," Esther informed. She began to perform the spell, her face soon showing signs of distress. "No! Sisters, do not abandon me!" Esther yelled out.
"Mother!" Finn yelled, pulling her close as the fire grew higher, only for the fire to go out soon after. Seraphina landed on the ground with a thump, making the three brothers jump slightly, all of them ready to attack. Seraphina ran towards them, all of them relaxing once she was in sight.
"I thought you were with Rebekah," Elijah said as Seraphina pulled Klaus into her arms, his arms automatically wrapping themselves around her. Klaus picked her up, spinning her around slightly as he held her close.
"She decided to be a pyromaniac," Seraphina answered Elijah into Klaus's neck. Klaus chuckled lightly, pressing a kiss to her neck before sitting her down on the ground. "Where did they go?" She breathed.
"I'm not sure," Elijah said, looking around the clearing.
"I think you and I have someplace to be," Klaus purred in Seraphina's ear, making Seraphina pull away from him, her eyebrow raised. Klaus smirked, giving her a wink before pressing his lips to hers.
"Get a room," Kol groaned, making Seraphina laugh.
"With pleasure," Klaus said, picking up Seraphina bridal style and rushing away.
