"I don't need hybrids. I have my family."

"If you believe that, then why take my blood at all?" Elena questioned. "You want a back-up family," Elena said after a pause. "You know that your siblings will never trust you again."

"You know, Stefan blames me for trying to tear him from his brother," Klaus said. "But I think we both know who really cake between them."

"You," Seraphina grumbled as she stood up from the couch. "That's why you won't choose. You know once you pick one you'll destroy their bond," She sneered, making her walk forward to Elena, her lip at her ear. "Consider this, what Klaus is doing, a favor," She whispered. "Once you're dead, you won't have to choose."

"No broken hearts," Klaus said as Seraphina pulled away from the doppelganger, only for him to lean down in front of her. "Their family stays intact. But just between us girls, who would you have picked?"

"Rot in hell," Elena spat, making Klaus only hum.

"You're welcome." Klaus pulled away from her, standing up straight. "Sweet dreams, Elena. It's been fun." Klaus grabbed Seraphina's hand, the two of them leaving the room.

Klaus and Seraphina stood at the door, watching Tyler untie Elena. Seraphina shook her head as Elena whispered for Tyler, making him look behind him.

"So much for that sure bond," Klaus scoffed.

"I'm not your little bitch anymore," Tyler announced, only for Klaus to smirk.

"How did you break the sire bond?" Klaus questioned, walking closer to Tyler.

"By breaking every bone in my body a hundred times for the girl I love," Tyler responded.

"That's impossible," Klaus scoffed.

"Is it? Or maybe real love is stronger than fake loyalty," Tyler stated. "But what would you know about that?" Tyler questioned. "I doubt you love Seraphina as much."

"You know -- you should be thanking me. I gave you a gift. I took away your misery," Klaus mentioned.

"You didn't give a crap about me!" Tyler yelled. "You just didn't want to be alone." Tyler walked away from Klaus, picking up Elena. Klaus soon pushed Tyler, causing Elena to fall as he shoved him against the wall.

"Good-bye, Tyler," Klaus spoke as he was soon stopped by Stefan's fingertips burying themselves into his chest, making Seraphina rush up to Stefan her hands going towards his neck, her hands tightening as she tried to fight him off of Klaus.

"Tyler, get her off of me," Stefan said through his clenched jaw. Tyler grabbed Seraphina, putting his arm around her neck, making her let go of Stefan. She began to claw at his arm, her airway closing slightly as his arm tightened around her neck.

"No," She whispered, hearing the way his heartbeat slowed. "No, no, no." She continued to panic, her eyes solely focused on him. Damon let go of Klaus, going to Elena as Seraphina continued to fight against Tyler, her breathing become ragged, her eyes locking with Klaus's. She choked out a sob, her eyes filling with tears as she watched his skin slowly turn gray, veins creeping up his neck. Klaus's eyes stayed on Seraphina, knowing that the last thing he wanted to see was her.

A loud sob escaped her lips as the final beat was heard, making Klaus go stiff in Stefan's hold. Stefan sat his body down, making Seraphina's eyes go dark as she bit Tyler's arm. Tyler dropped her quickly, making her crawl over to Klaus's corpse.

"Please, wake up, please, please, please." She cried, stroking his face as tears fell down her face. She began to search frantically for a way for her to bring him back, her sobs overcoming her as she rested her head against his chest.

"We need to get her home before sunset," Stefan stated. Seraphina's cries ended abruptly, making the two look at her. She got up, tears littering her face as she left the room, hoping to find a way to bring Klaus back.

--

"They killed him," She spoke as she paced the scummy hotel room. "I watched him desiccate right in front of me while that stupid hybrid brat held me there," She spat. "My brothers are taking his body somewhere. I know he deserves this but," She explained, a sigh leaving her lips. "It hurts me, it really does. I'm going to kill them --I'll slaughter this entire town. I'm going to start with Elena -"

"Sera. Don't do anything risky, I'll be there soon."

--

"Stefan," Elena called as she stood in front of Elijah and Seraphina.

"Elijah," Stefan said. "And Seraphina."

"Hello, again," Elijah said. Seraphina stared as her brother, her eyes full of hate. "Don't try anything with her right now," Elijah warned Stefan. "She's very upset."

"I can tell," He mumbled. "Why are you here?"

"I want to get my brother back before Seraphina kills everyone in this town, starting with Elena," Elijah stated, a light gasp leaving the said girl. "As I said, she's very angry."

"Let me get Damon on the phone."

--

"All we need to do is take that stake away from him. Once he's been disarmed, the weapons in my possession, my family will scatter to the ends of the earth," Elijah explained. "And Alaric will follow us."

"And you'll just, run?"

"We've done it before," Elijah reminded.

"We've grown used to it," Seraphina added.

"Klaus, Rebekah, and eventually Seraphina spent the better part of a thousand years evading my father. What's another half-century while Elena's about to live out the rest of her natural life?"

"We finally stopped him, Elijah," Elena sighed. "After everything that he's done to us, I can't just let you bring him back."

"Yes, but you forgot to realize what it's doing to Seraphina. If I didn't compel her to not kill the entire town I think this house would be covered in blood," Elijah mentioned, making Seraphina roll her eyes.

"I know how to not spill blood," She muttered, eyeing Elijah.

"I give you my word, Elena. I will not revive Klaus," He ignored her remark.

"Hold on," Seraphina interjected, looking at Elijah. "You just went on about how much I hurt and you're not going to revive him? Elijah, I ought to -" She stopped by him holding up his hand.

"Within yours, not even within your children's lifetimes."
