"Family above all,"

"So why don't we move this evening along and discuss the terms of this proposal," Elijah suggested.

"Well, it's very simple. Klaus gets his coffin back, in exchange, he, and the original extended family, leave mystic falls forever," Damon explained. "Me, Stefan, and Elena live happily ever after, no grudges," Damon finalized.

"Deal sounds fair, brother," Elijah pointed out.

"I don't think you understand. I can't do that because Elena's doppelganger blood ensures that I will always have more hybrids to fight those who oppose me," Klaus paused. "I will never leave her behind," Klaus said, looking at Stefan.

"Let's say I do leave her here," Klaus began as he got up, holding his drink in his hand. "Under your protection, what then? How long before one of you turns her into a vampire?" Klaus questioned. "Or worse, how long before she dies, caught between your feuding? You see, each one of you truly believes that you're the one that can protect her; and that is simply a delusion. Gentlemen - the worst thing for Elena Gilbert is the two of you." Klaus concluded his rant, making Damon and Stefan look at the hybrid, then each other.

"I'm going to get some air," Damon finally spoke.

"Let me deal with this," Elijah spoke, getting up. Elijah looked at Seraphina, making her raise a brow. Elijah shook his head, raising his palm a bit to tell her to stay here, making her nod.

Damon and Elijah walked into the room, seeing Seraphina holding Stefan against the wall by his neck. She turned her head, seeing the two. The siblings had shared harsh words, resulting in Seraphina to get the upper hand.

"Hello," She smiled, tightening her grip on her brother's neck.

"Where's Klaus?" Elijah questioned. She motioned her head towards the ground, Klaus lying unconscious.

"Bring me the coffin," She began, taking a deep breath before looking at her brother.
"Or I burn him alive." She inched him closer, making Damon and Elijah look at each other as Klaus began to awake. "Trust me, I'm feeling a little kill-y."

"I'll get it," Damon grumbled, looking at his sister before walking out of the room.

"Go with him brother, you keep him honest," Klaus said. "When you return, I will make good on my promise to you and I will hand over our family," Klaus added in, making Elijah go in the same direction Damon did.

"Go ahead, kill me! I know you'll do it when he brings the coffin," Stefan snapped to Seraphina, making her turn her head to look at him.

"I don't think you want me to kill you, I plan on torture you," She sneered. "Make you feel your body dry up and feel your veins rub against each other."

"You really have given up, haven't you, huh? Where's the fight? Where's the ripper?" Klaus questioned loudly. Stefan grunted, pushing Seraphina away from him. She growled, ready to attack him.

"Sera," Elijah called as he and Damon returned.

"Elijah," Seraphina responded, watching a blonde walk in. Elijah beckoned his sister-in-law towards him, making her do so. He grabbed her wrist, holding it tightly. "Elijah," She whined, trying to break away from him.

"Why haven't you left?" Klaus questioned his brother.

"Well, where are your manners, brother? You forgot dessert," Elijah mentioned, removing the piece of cloth from the tray, revealing two daggers.

"What have you done?" Klaus questioned him, his eyes wide.

"What have you done? See, I've learned not to trust your vulgar promises, Klaus," Elijah explained. "We're doing this on my terms now," Elijah informed as Kol appeared, walking to stand beside Elijah.

"Kol," Klaus gasped.

"Long time, brother," Kol spoke, a smirk on his face as he saw Seraphina. "Ah, Sera."

If there is one person every Mikaelson loved, it was Seraphina. Seraphina looked at Klaus, her eyes wide in shock as Klaus began to run, only for Finn to appear in front of him, dagger in hand.

"Finn, don't," Klaus pleaded, his hand raised up. Finn stabbed the dagger through Klaus's hand, making him yell out in pain. Seraphina began to fight against Elijah's grip harder, making Elijah look at her.

"Rebekah!" Klaus exclaimed and soon, a groan escaped his lips.

"This is for our mother," She growled.

"You're free to go," Elijah told the Salvatore brothers. "This is family business," He explained, holding Seraphina as she continued to watch the scene unfold with a look of horror in her eyes.

"I've liked what you've done with the new place, Nik," Rebekah complimented sarcastically as she grabbed a vase, throwing it at the wall.

"I wanted it to be for all of us," Klaus mumbled. "A place we could call home; a place we could all be a family," Klaus explained. "None of us would ever have to be alone again."

"Oh, you're right. None of us will be," Elijah said. Seraphina was still in his hold, knowing that if he was to let his guard down she would attack, she did that a lot when Klaus was being targeted by them.

"You're staying behind," Finn said.

"We're leaving you Nik, right after I kill that doppelgänger wench," Rebekah growled. "And you will be alone, cause pretty soon you'll do something to Seraphina and she'll be right out that door."

"If you run, I will hunt all of you down -"

"And then you'll become everything you hate," Elijah said. "Our father."

"I'm the hybrid!" Klaus exclaimed. "I can't be killed!" He yelled. "I have nothing to fear from any of you!" He boomed.

"You will when we have that coffin," Elijah responded. The two brothers had a stare down as the door opened, a blonde woman walking through the door. Seraphina got out of Elijah's hold, running to the door only for it to be slammed shut.

"Mother," Rebekah breathed.

"Look at me," Esther demanded Klaus, making him do as his mother said. Seraphina looked at Esther in shock, hearing the stories of The Mikaelson monarch made her almost tremble.

"You're here to kill me," Klaus whispered.

"Niklaus, you are my son. And I am here to forgive you," Esther said, grabbing Klaus and turning around, facing her children. "I want us to be a family again," She added, looking at them, a joyous look on her face. It soon turned sour once her eyes landed on the young vampire at the door.

"If you open the door, I'll leave," Seraphina said quickly. She wasn't afraid of Esther -- she was afraid of her opinion.

"Who are you?" Esther questioned, her head cocking to the side as she waited for an answer. "C'mon, speak." Esther snapped, making Klaus leave from behind her, going to stand in front of Seraphina in a protective manor.

"She's my wife, mother."
