"Klaus? What about Rebekah?" Seraphina yelled as he drove wildly out of the hospital parking lot.

"Not now," Klaus growled at her, his eyes trained on the road.

"No! Now Klaus!" Seraphina yelled again. "He was bluffing!" She added.

"How do you know?" He countered. "How do you know he isn't hiding him in that damned house of his?"

"If he was hiding in that damned house I would've been dead Niklaus," She growled his name. "Turn around and let's get Rebekah," She tried to reason.

"Wasn't you wanting us to have alone time?" He questioned her, making her grunt.

"I don't want to be in her warpath! That's why I am against this!" She yelled. "Besides, we've already had 'alone time'."

"Oh, c'mon, all you have to do is look at her with those puppy eyes and she'll forgive you," Klaus smirked, making Seraphina roll her eyes, curling up in her seat.

"I doubt that," She mumbled under her breath, making Klaus chuckle.

"Darling, I'm sorry, but I want to keep you safe. You can die by a stake through the heart," He reminded her. "And I wouldn't be able to give you blood to heal that," Seraphina looked at her husband, her heart swelling with admiration. Seraphina grabbed his hand, intertwining their fingers as he drove out of Mystic Falls.

The sunlight streamed through the hotel curtains as Seraphina slept and Klaus laid awake, one of his hands was holding her against his chest and the other was stroking her hair. Seraphina grunted and turned her head, her lips pressing against Klaus's chest, making him chuckle.

"Are you ready for round two?" Klaus questioned cheekily, making Seraphina lean up, her eyebrows furrowed as she looked at him. Klaus laughed at her reaction, making her roll her eyes and try to get off his chest, only for Klaus to tighten his grip.

"Klaus," She whined, making him chuckle.

"I missed mornings like this," Klaus whispered, leaning up. Seraphina straddled his lap, her arms going around his neck. "I remember our first morning together," He said, looking in her eyes.

"You do? As husband and wife?" She questioned, making him nod.

"When you looked at me your face turned a beautiful shade of red," He joked, making her scoff and shove him lightly. He pulled her closer, pressing kisses on her neck. "You had love bites on your neck, along with other bites. You had this glow about you," He continued, making Seraphina giggle as his scruff tickled her neck.

"You're too much," She sighed, pulling his head out of her neck. "I love you," She mumbled sweetly, pressing her lips to his.

"I love you."

"Portland is fantastic once you can get over all the whiney music and healthy-looking people," Klaus said into the phone after he answered. "It's literally a breeding ground for werewolves."

"Your father's dead," Stefan said, making Seraphina look at Klaus with a concerned look.

"What did you say to me?" He questioned Stefan.

"Oh, my mistake. Not your actual father, and not dead. Mikael, daggered," Stefan said, waiting for Klaus to speak. "What do you want me to do with the body?" Stefan questioned after the pause.

"Well, first, I want you to explain to me exactly what happened," Klaus replied.

"Klaus," Seraphina whispered, making him look at her. "I don't trust this," She mouthed.

"I want to see him," Klaus said, ignoring Seraphina's worries. "I want to see his rotting body for myself," He added.

"Well, he's here," Stefan said through the speaker. "Come by whenever."

"If you're lying to me, Stefan, your compulsion will expose you," Klaus said simply. "So answer with your life; is what you're saying the truth?" Klaus questioned.

"It's true, I saw it with my own eyes," Stefan replied.

"I want to talk to Rebekah," Klaus said.

"That's not a problem - She's right here,"

"Hello, Nik," Rebekah greeted through the speaker.

"Rebekah, love. What's this I hear about Mikael's tragic run-in with a dagger?" Klaus questioned.

"It's true," She responded. "He's finally out of our lives for good," She continued. "I miss you guys, I'm miserable here," She added after a silence.

"We'll be home soon," Klaus spoke, looking at Seraphina.

"Good, I'll see you then, brother."

"Klaus," Seraphina trailed as he ended the call. "Doesn't this seem fishy? Mikael hasn't been around and down suddenly he's back and Elena killed him?" Seraphina questioned as they walked to the car.

"Well, if this is fake, the whole promise about not killing your brothers will be broken," Klaus told her as he opened the car door.

"I'll help you myself," She grumbled, turning around to look at her husband. "I don't want to lose you," She whispered.

"I should be the one saying that darling," He sighed, pressing a kiss to her lips. "Trust me, I'm not going anywhere."

"Good evening everyone!" Klaus greeted into the microphone. "I want to thank you all for being here with me to celebrate," Klaus continued.

Seraphina and Klaus made a quick wardrobe change before the two arrived at the Lockwood Estate. Klaus was now in a suit of sorts, the tie was loosely done around his neck. Seraphina, however, changed into a blood red colored dress that showed 'too much' in Klaus's words. It hugged her figure perfectly, and the silky look of it made her look ravishing. She wore strappy heels and her make-up was dark.

"It's been a long time coming," Klaus said, looking on into the crowd.

"Quite the homecoming," Stefan said as he, Seraphina, and Klaus walked through the crowd of dancing teenagers. Klaus hold on Seraphina's hand grew tighter as they walked through, he didn't want to fight some teenage boy for trying to hit on his wife.

"I've been planning my father's funeral for one thousand years," Klaus responded. "Granted, in no version of it were any of these people invited, but you get the idea."

"So, now what? You just stop running?" Stefan questioned.

"Now, I reunite my family."
