Jungkook offered to donate blood to Jiyoon because she was low on RBC count and the hospital ran low on RBC because most of the kids injured were Type O, and so happened that Jiyoon is Type O.
For now, I asked Hanbin to stabilize her vitals and keep her asleep until the test results of Jungkook and Jiyoon's blood come out. This is actually my first time knowing what the kid's blood type was.
I thought she was a B like her mom but then I forgot the part that she has a father.
Yep, that son of a bitch, Koo Jun Hoe, leaving my student drunk and broken hearted. The next day she came to work after having her 'fun night', my residents and I had to do a surgery that requires a lot of help.
Chaeyoung was drunk during the surgery. She hesitated to slice through the skin and couldn't even think properly.
That's all in the past. I'm glad that kid got to be stronger woman.
What I'm actually waiting for most, is me winning a bet with Jin-hyung. It's our thing whenever Jungkook has a girl, after what happened to Yuri, of course. That was a tragic accident. After that, Jin-hyung and I always placed bets on Jungkook.
Whether he'll end up marrying the girl he is with or not, and this time I took yes and Jin took the no. Because, obviously, they both will end up together.
Obviously, right?
"Doc, the results are here," one of the nurses says.
She was carrying the packet of blood with her and a long tube so we can attach it to Jiyoon.
"It's positive, doc," she said.
"Okay, insert the tube on the line and give the kid the blood, we're loosing her slowly," I said.
"But, doc, there's something you need to know," the nurse said. "Privately."
I have trusty nurses in the hospital, who gives me rumors, secrets and gossips. When I hear the word 'privately' it means it is a serious thing I need to know about.
"Alright, all of you, you've done a good job. You may exit the surgery room," I told the rest and they exited without objection. "Now, what is it I need to know?"
My nurse gestured me to come closer and I did, then she whispered something in my ear.
