Chapter 21

Jin PoV

Jungkook was dragging me into his car. 

We were meeting up in his apartment because he made sure that I wouldn't run away from saying sorry to Jisoo. Of course, I'd run away.

If she knew, she'll call my mom, my mom would call my dad, my dad would call me and I will die. 

"Seriously, Jin-hyung," he stops and looked at me. "Just tell her, I'll be there to stop her if she runs away!"

"Jungkook, I appreciate your help," I told him and placed my hands in my pocket. "This is the first time you're the one trying to help me out with a heavy problem. 

"Ah, hyung, stop getting emotional," he laughed. "Mr. Choi, to Jin-hyun's resto near the office?"

"Yes, sir," his driver nodded. 

Throughout the whole ride, Jungkook would always talk about Chaeyoung-ssi, his stressful work and everything else related to Jiyoon. 

I also love kids, why didn't he tell me that he, Taehyung, and Jimin went to the zoo with Chaeyoung-ssi's daughter? Anyways, I can ask Jisoo if I can meet the kid, Jiyoon sounds like a lovely child. But, that's if, we'd end up fine. 

Anyways, what's up with baby number 2? Why is he always talking about Park Jiyoon as if she is really his child? Or like, why is he so confident about Jiyoon? 

Namjoon is also the 'appa' of Jiyoon but not like Jungkook. Apparently, Jungkook has the privilege to pick up Jiyoon or bring her home before 7. It's creepy but then again, he acts like he knew the kid since she was born. 

"See?" he showed me his phone. 

My jaw dropped. 

"Jin-hyung?" Jungkook snapped. 

He was right.

She looked like him.

The facial features.

The smile. 

Everything. 

Please don't make her do work outs, though. Jungkook did it too much and I swear, I wanted to close the gym down. 

"She doesn't know her father, right?" I asked him. 

He nods, "And Chaeyoung doesn't really want to talk about him so that conversation is not to be touched."

"Have you ever thought of you being the father? I mean look at that, you and her smiling side by side," I looked at him. "Seriously, she looks like you! You mentioned her blood type to be same as yours and not as her mother's Jungo--"

"Hyung, no. Of course, I thought about it at first. But it's impossible because I've never met Chaeyoung. Not 5 years ago, but a few months ago. So--"

"You made Cole look into her profile again, did you?"

Of course he did. 

He's Jungkook. 

Cole was with him since he was 18 and the weird thing is that Cole's father also worked for Jungkook's dad. It's like an heirloom in their family to be with the Jeons or something. 

The last time he did that was when he wanted to look for Il-do's mother and the first time ever was when Yuri became his girlfriend. And all the rest was related to business so he can be the obstacle for other companies. 

Usually Cole can finish this kind of job in 2-3 weeks on humans, in companies he can do it in a day. I wonder...did Cole look into the kid as well? I'm sure Jungkook will be most heartbroken if he found who the father is.
