Chaeyoung PoV

I say good bye to Jiyoon on the phone.

God, I'm so happy that she's my child! She's also a smarty like me! Not to brag but she got her spelling quiz perfect.

How cute, right?

Too bad I wasn't there to see her happiness. God, these days our wifi connection has been slow and I can barely go on Kakao or Face Time anyone. The signal for international sims seem to suck too.

I've been hyped up with the medical mission and it's about to end in 2 days.

We've decided to have the feeding program tomorrow so the people can have some remembrance of our team helping out. And, what I'm most proud of is that the people in the team like Yeri or Minho or the younger kids, didn't go to Honolulu just to shop.

All of us were here in this once hopeless place. It isn't enough, yet. The place still seems dark but there's people who smile and people who have homes.

Right now, I volunteered myself to help the new library out. I assigned Yeri to lead any surgery in case and Jihyo to take over my place as the leader. It's just me right now, I begged the team to let me off alone.

Reminiscing about my time here isn't involved. I just want to see the place alone and interact with the people alone. So far, there aren't anyone harmful here.

As for Mr. Seo, who I operated for the late Queen Victoria's gem is still unconscious and we've had frequent visits by the British guy. So far, I've only had 2 operations.

I've seen it in the newspapers. The Korean Embassy sends us the Korean Daily Paper everyday. Jungkook's in London and he looks like he's having the best time there. From what I've read, he's attending his friend's event.

And his friend is getting married to this..British girl.

What I'm bothered is that he hasn't called me, he hasn't asked me anything. Sure, I've called Lisa, Jisoo and Jennie for Jiyoon or any updates in Korea but none from Jungkook.

The first 2 weeks I was gone, we were contacting each other every second, minute and hour. There were no nights I wouldn't sleep without him telling me to call him first. And now, it's like Jungkook's...changed for some reason.

Not that I'm bothered at it all, I'm just really worried.

Ugh, no, I'm lying. I'm bothered to my core!

I've tried asking sunbae what's with him but whenever I do he answers something different. Instead of saying that he's fine and just busy, he says I'll be coming home with surgeries that will keep me busy for 24 hours.

And because of no one telling me anything in their side of the world, I heard Jisoo got into an accident. Her name was also in the online article that I saw in media. She fell from her bedroom and was rushed to the hospital with a minor head injury.

She's doing well, though. I'm glad Jennie and Lisa knew what to do.

That's a long time ago..I've been out for so long and I miss a lot of people.

Speaking of being out so long, I was also shocked when my sister said she's engaged to this Australian guy. Which is her patient, but he looks dashing. His name is Gabriel Sparks. So in a year, I'm attending a wedding event.

I enter the library and walked inside.

The guard had let me in after I showed my UN ID to her. When I entered, there were about 5 people helping out. They were unboxing some boxes and getting out the books. One person is...I guess sorting the books out according to the Dewey System.
