Chapter 55

Chaeyoung PoV

Jungkook opened the door in my side of the car and helped me down. 

The sun suddenly showed up today, after that sad and full of tears breakfast. He wanted me to say sorry to Jiyoon for not taking care of her well for the past week, and have a little bonding today. 

He held my hand in his and closed the car door with his other hand. 

"Yeobuseo? Jennie-noona?" he answers his phone. "Eo, I'm picking up Jiyoon with Chaeyoung today."

"..Ani, don't worry, noona, and I think you should talk it out with her personally," he says. "Arasseo, I'll see you and Taehyungie-hyung? Annyeong!!!" 

He smiles and slides his phone inside his pocket. Looks like someone got his teasing today. 

After staring at him for so long, he drags me to the waiting area. Where the other parents were also waiting for kids to leave school. 

Among all of the moms here, I'm the youngest and I barely am friends with them. I don't really get along with their ideology, because I'm younger and they're older.

When Jungkook and I was about to stand near the school's door, a lot of the moms and babysitters were gasping. So I looked at them, and saw them drooling over Jungkook. Then I looked at my hand, that were intertwined with his. 

I see. 

That's why.

"Excuse me," one of the moms patted Jungkook. 

Jungkook and I turned around, still with our hands intertwined.

"Yes?" both of us asked, together. 

"Could you be..Jeon Jungkook-ssi?" she smiled. 

He and I looked at each other for a brief second. 

Then the mom screamed, "Oh, my God! Who is your child here?! I'll make him or her friends with my daughter!" 

"Also my child!"

"Mine too!" 

"They'll be best of friends with mine!" 

But I recognized the mom who talked to Jungkook. She and Jennie-eonnie always see each other in the principals office. Both of them fight a lot, like how her daughter fights Jiyoon. 

Although, she is a big fan of Jennie's clothing line, she still makes sure that her daughter gets to be the spotlight of the school. That was when I was still the one going to the school and talk it out with this mom. 

When Jennie came to school for Jiyoon and the principals office, this mom just suddenly bowed down and praised her. The principals office session were ended fast because Jennie gets what she wants. 

"Her daughter is the one who bullies Jiyoon a lot," I whispered to Jungkook's ears. 

He nodded with his mouth open. Then he looked at the mom and cleared his throat. 

"I believe your daughter is Ahn Seung Yoon?"Jungkook asked. 

Mrs. Ahn, I believe, clapped her hands and smiled, "You know my child? She's the kindest and friendliest!"

Jungkook scoffed and put on a little smirk, "I'm here for Park Ji Yoon, who I believe, your daughter bullies a lot?"

The look in Mrs. Ahn's face came from happy to scared. 

"Are you..Jiyoon-ssi's dad?" Mrs. Ahn asked, now frightened. 

I wanted to shout: "Yeah, he is" but I couldn't because he still does not know.
