I placed my hands on my waist at my kid who won't move out of the hospital room even if she is already discharged. She's been here for 5 days and Jennie got out yesterday so she's now at home resting.

Jiyoon, on the other hand, wanted an excuse to not go to school and since Jungkook often visits her, she wants to stay here. And also, she doesn't have a lot of friends in school and most of her friends are the nurses here.

Like, So-jun, Jihyo and Chanyeol and many other nurses. I, honestly am disappointed that she does not have more than 5 friends. Her teacher says she's quiet in class and the people she calls 'friends' are really just...acquaintances.

"Alright, Jungkook will visit you if you stand up and go home," I said.

She quickly stood up, "Okay! I'm going home! Come on, mommy, you're so slowly."

Jiyoon jumps off of her bed and runs out of the room.

"Let's go to Jungkook-appa!!!!!!!!!!!!" she shouts while running.

Oh, that kid. Getting attached to Jungkook in just 5 days. She doesn't even know him or what he does as a job but she talks about him as if they knew each other for more than 10 years.

I walk to the lobby to fix her out-patient papers and pay the surgery, ambulance and room bills. Gosh, all of the money I'm wasting for the expenses were supposed to be my surprise Christmas gift for her. She talks about going to Sapporo, Japan a lot and I wanted to take her there.

Well, not this year, I guess. We have to put up some funds before I can take her there.

"Ms. Park, Chief Kim asked me to give this to you on your way out," the nurse said.

I grabbed the envelope that she handed out and opened it. Jiyoon was still talking with Jihyo and annoying Chanyeol then I looked back to the enveloped and opened it.

"The expenses is paid, Doc. You still have a balance of 100,000 won," she said.

"Okay, uhm, How much do I have to pay per month?"

"15,000 down payment."

"Alright. Thanks. Tell Namjoon-sunbae that I'll take my leave."

"Yes, ma'am."

Before even leaving the counter for the payment, I opened the envelope and checked what it was. Apparently, it was for the medical mission.

I read everything, about the terms and regulations. The main goal of the mission and the rewards when we come back. Actually, I skipped the awards because you do the mission as a volunteer and not for money.

Then there was a calendar-like page for the scheduled activities during the mission. All of a sudden I got shocked.

"A month and a half?" I sighed.

A month and a half and I won't be able to see Jiyoon? Aish, what will happen to the kid if I'm not around? She'll probably get more attached to Jungkook and would spend time more with him than with me when I come back.

"Jiyoon-ah, let's go," I say. "Say bye to Aunty Jihyo."

"Macadamias, please?" she said to Jihyo.

Jihyo sighs, "Alright, if I can find one."

"Yipee! Bye, Aunty J!"

"Bye, sweetheart," she kissed Jiyoon. "And you?"

I turned to her with my eyebrows raised.

"You take care of my ball of happiness."

I laughed, "Alrighty, eonnie. We'll go ahead."
