"What do you see in him, Y/N?" Natasha asks as you walk down the hallway of Stark Tower.

You shrug, "I see the opposite of what you see, " you say, "Look I know you don't see him as an amazing guy because of the whole New York thing, but he really is. He is kind and charming and really smart, "

She rolls her eyes, "Listen, I'm not gonna tell you how to date, but be careful around him, "

You scoff, "Nothing to be careful around when I'm dating a big softie, "

You smile at the thought of Loki. Natasha walks away and you sigh.

You hate how the team won't even try to see the good part of Loki. He is truly smart and kind, just underestimated. And Loki does not like to be underestimated.

"A big softie?" A voice asks from the corner and you jump with a yelp. You turn to the corner and see Loki against the wall.

"Loki! You scared the shit out of me!" You gasp and walk up to him. "Sorry, my queen, " he apologizes, "Couldn't help, but get a little payback at you calling me a 'softie', "

You crane your neck, "You heard that?" You ask and Loki steps away, "Oh my queen, I hear everything, " he charms you as he disappears into the corner.

You look around the corner look turned to, but he was nowhere to be seen.

Dinner

"Where's Loki?" Steve asks as he sits down at the table. You shrug and help yourself to a bread roll.

"Y/N, " Steve drags, "You can't just know where he is. For all, we know he could be planning another attack on New York, "

You roll your eyes, "He doesn't do that anymore, " you groan and Steve scoffs, "How do you know?"

"Well, how do you know Bucky isn't going to go all Winter Soldier on us again?" You ask and Bucky looks away.

"No offense, James, " you say and Steve looks at you pissed, "Because James is a different story, " Steve says, "Maybe, but you still support him and defend him when people bring it up. Loki has changed, just as Bucky, but you are just too pathetic to notice that, " You argue and storm out of the dining room.

You brush past Loki, but you don't see or hear him calling out to you. "What did I miss?" Loki asks and chases after you.

Breakfast a couple of weeks later

You hum a random tune as you cook breakfast. But you abruptly stop as you burn your hand.

"Ah shit, " you mutter and run it under water. "Don't worry, luckily we have a Frost Giant hiding around, " you hear Tony say and you groan.

"Speaking of, where the hell is he?" Tony asks and you turn around, "Still sleeping, " you say and go back to cooking.

"Are you sure?" He presses and you groan, "Yes, I'm sure! God, what is it with you and everyone putting pressure on Loki. Leave him alone, if you wanna bother somebody bother Barton, he's going soft with family life, " you say and put away the cooking equipment to go back to bed.

You have only been awake for thirty minuted and they are already giving you a headache.

"But, I just got done calling him 'hawkears', " Tony mumbles sadly, "THEN BOTHER STEVE!" you shout and storm off.
