"Piet, " you sigh, "We can't. We might get caught, " you huff and try to push Pietro away from his assault on your neck. As much as you loved to feel and make low to the man, you had to be careful. You couldn't just show it off in public.

Pierto whined as he rests his forehead on your shoulder, "Come on, I'll be fast. I'm great at that, " he says flashing you his charming smile. You smile and shake your head, "No, no, Piet we can't. You know how everyone else feels about me dating, " you say and nod your head to the side, towards the room where all the Avengers were lounging in.

You were one of the youngest, you were nineteen years old and technically an adult. Pietro was around the same age, just a couple of years older. But, nevertheless, you two should be able to date freely. But, no, the rest of the Avenger treated you like a baby. Implanting stupid heavy rules.

Curfew is 11 at night, no phones or TV past ten at night, no dating, school comes first, chores, no drinking, no smoking. It sometimes felt like you were trapped in this little cage with nowhere to go. You were an adult now, you graduated high schools and study at NYU and stay with the Avengers as an Avenger. You are an Avenger, but you are still treated like a child.

Peter Parker gets treated better than you and he's still in high school. Wanda is only a few years old then you and she acts like she can control you. You hated all the rules and strictness. You wanted to live life and live freely. You don't know why they are so harsh on you, but it really makes you feel so trapped and claustrophobic.

"We should tell them, " Pietro mumbles and your ears perk up as you gasp, "Are you crazy, they'd never let us see each other again. They almost lost their minds when I stay up past midnight, could you imagine how they'd react if they found out about us?" you whisper with urgency. Pietro sighs and pulls at the darker roots that faded into blonde.

"I know, I'm just so sick of hiding. I want to take you out on a date and cuddle you when there's a movie night and kiss you whenever and wherever I want to, " he says and your heart flurries as he confesses this; you feel the same way about him. "I'm so tired of having to time when we go out or hide our faces when you go to get a coffee at the cafe. I'm tired of having to sneak in and out of your room or make up an excuse for why Im in there, "

You can hear the frustration grow in his voice as you begin to feel so terrible and guilty. You can feel your face flush and grow warm with guilt. A gut feeling that this is all your fault, maybe you did something to have the team implement these harsh rules. Now, hurting Pietro. "I'm so sorry, Piet, this is my fault, " you whisper and Pietro looks up and shakes his head, "No, no, Princess, none of this is your fault. You're just a victim to harsh rules, " he says and you sigh as you hide your warm face in the crook of his neck.

"Come on, let's go to the roof, " he says and you nod and follow him towards the elevator, but you feel his tugging on your arm towards the staircase. You shake your head and try to pull away as he begins to walk up the concrete steps. "Hell no, there is no way in hell I am walking up all them damn stairs, " you say and Pietro chuckles, "The elevator is too slow, " his accent-laden words twist with your head. You can barely register him picking you up in his arms and beginning his sprint up the stairs.

You yelp as a rush of air blows past you, drying out your eyes. You barely have the time to wrap your arms around his neck to hang on before he sets you down on the roof of the facility. "Oh look, the sun is setting, " he says as he holds your shaky hand. It was exhilarating to be moving at such a speed, it made your legs wobble when walked and the breath hitch in your lungs.
