Wedding Series ~ Steve Rogers

Steve took you on a very nice date. A table overlooking the entire city with a gorgeous sunset.

The pinks and oranges blending together to make a beautiful scene. You could tell that Steve was very nervous. He kept fiddling with his fingers and tapping his toes onto the tile.

You chuckled at his nerves but shook it off.

"Look how amazing it is!" You awe at the picture-perfect sunset in front of you.

"Yeah, it is. Not as amazing as you though, " Steve flirted and you blush as he took your hand into his own. "I love you so much. You know that?"

"Of course I know you love me. And I love you too!" You said as flashed him a smile. "Before I met you. A stable relationship never came across my mind. Back in the day with was just getting through the day alive or trying not to get beaten up. Then it was the war. Then it was keeping the world safe from monsters and aliens. Having a boy/girlfriend, or a family of any sort was never a priority, " Steve said, locking his gaze with your bright eyes.

All you do is smile and hold his hand tighter. "Then you came along and everything changed. I found myself planning my day and my mission around yours. And when me and you had a mission together I couldn't focus on the task, only on keeping you safe. I first thought it was a natural instinct, but I then soon realized that it was just instinct, but love. And so much of it, "

You almost cry at the sweet sentences spilling from his lips. Small tears well as you watch him wall up to you and kneel down.

He grabs your hands and continues, "And there is so much love. I realized that I was finally feeling true happiness. So, I have just one small question for you, "

You watch as he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a red velvet box. Tears stream down your face as you watch him ask, "Will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?"

You are overwhelmed with happiness to even answer, so you frantically nod your head. "Yes?" Steve asks with a watery smile.

"Yes, " you choke out and he slides a rose gold bad with a .3 carat diamond. "Oh, Steve it's beautiful. I love it. I love you, " you sob and lean down to kiss him.

"I love you too, " he said against my lips.

"So, how would you like to theme this wedding, my lovely fiancee?" You ask Steve and he smiles, "Whatever you would like. I don't care where we're getting married, I just want to marry you, " Steve says and you smile at him.

"Okay, so how about a Traditional Wedding, " you say with a smile, "That sounds so perfect, " he says and you add on, "Just make sure to remind me on the table seating to have my cousin Vinny and Ian sit separate, "

"How about a priest?"

"Should we have all white or like American?"

"Oh my god! The color combinations!"

"Can we have roses?"

Your rambling ceases when Steve plants his lips right on your and pulls away slowly. "Those all sound like great questions. And the even better answers will come from us. But, one thing at a time, "

You sigh and a blush rises quickly. "I'm sorry, I'm just so excited, "

"And I am too. But, let's not get ahead of ourselves, " he says and leans in for another peck, but the ringing of his phone pulls him away.
