The Avengers finally had their day off, this was the day where the heroes would sleep in as much as they could and just lounge around. Maybe they would experiment in the kitchen, trying to bake a new recipe, something failing miserably. Or, they would have an all-day Netflix movie marathon, or Steve and Bucky would force them to watch some silent picture film from their age.

But, as of right now, they were just getting their day started. Peter, Steve, and Tony were all eating breakfast. Tony was munching on bacon and like a ton of it. Peter was having fruit loops. Steve was eating something that looks like fried sticks of butter, he gnawed on whatever he was eating while reading the morning newspaper he got while he was on a run.

"Steve, what the hell are you eating?" asks Tony and Steve looks over and folds up his newspaper, "It's called Fried Mush, " he says and Tony scoffs, "What from the Depression? Why don't you have some bacon and eggs?" he asks and Steve shrugs, "This is what feels right to eat in the morning, I didn't have eggs and meats very often growing up; it was too expensive, " he says and Tony rolls his eye, "It's not the Depression anymore, Rogers."

Steve is getting fed up, "Well, I'm sorry, Tony, not all of us were born into wealth, " says Steve with a huff. Tony shrugged and stood up. He patted Peter's shoulder, who was sitting there awkwardly just trying to eat his Fruit Loops. "Look at that! Look at Peter's breakfast. It has colors! COLORS STEVEN!" says Tony, shouting then strutting out of the kitchen.

Steve huffs and just tries to finish his breakfast, mumbling under his breath, "Idiot." This was ironic because Tony Stark is one of the smartest people to ever stalk the universe, possibly even Multi-Verse. "Sorry, " Peter mumbles and Steve smiles, "It's okay, none of it is your fault kid. Some people just tend to not get along sometimes."

"Why don't you and Mr. Stark get along?" asks Peter as he pushes his empty bowl away, "We share different viewpoints, but at the end of the day we're best friends, comrades, " says Steve and Peter nods, but continues to ask, "What viewpoints do you guys not agree on?" Steve smiles at Peter's curiosity.

"Well, me and him are just very different people. I knew his father, I was friends with his father, but he didn't like his father. He bragged about me to Tony and so Tony already had a natural disliking towards me. When we first met we were rocky. Then the whole Sokovia Accords thing screwed us over. There is also a to of things I don't like about Tony, " Steve says and shrugs. "Like?" asks Peter and Steve sighs and sips on his coffee, "Well, he's arrogant, snarky, and too smart for his own good. Will never let you live down anything, but he's a great friend, always has been, "

Peter nods, "Well, I don't think he's snarky or arrogant, " he says and Steve smiles, "That's because he actually likes you." It's true. Tony has always treated Peter differently than the rest of the team. Tony would shut up and listen to Peter when he had something to say. Tony did the little things for Peter, pick him up from school, help with work, make a peaceful conversation and the best one yet, he never made fun or teased Peter. He was always kind to Peter while the rest of the team was slaughtered with teases and jokes that they didn't need or want to hear.

Peter beams at the thought of Tony liking him. "You think so?" he asks and Steve chuckles, "I know so, kid. I've seen it with my very own eyes. Actually, if you ask anyone in this facility they'd say Tony likes you the most, " says Steve. Peter nods and becomes quiet. Steve folds up his newspaper and gets off from the seat. "Good talk, sport, " says Steve, patting the teenager on the back.
