THE EXOTIC DANCER CHAPTER 049
"I wanted to admit."

"You should try to sleep you know." He spoke softly. I felt his hand move gently along my hair, from the top of my head down to where it laid upon my shoulders. All tears had been blinked away, my eyes feeling a surprising dryness despite the fact that i may have just brought some legitimacy to the saying "cry a river."

Other than the sound of our breathing and the occasional plee from Taehyung to get me to sleep the apartment was practically silent. Every now and then you would hear the sudden whoosh of the cars below rushing across the street.

"I couldn't even if i wanted to." I whispered back lifelessly. "I feel like i sleep less and less every day. Even when i have the time, which is not a frequent thing i still can't manage to get to sleep. My mind won't stop running. There really is no break." My tone was desperate, i could hear it and i'm sure he could too.

Hours ago when i fell to the floor unable to breathe it was cold. A shock to the heat that was enveloping my body from the warmness of Taehyung's hold on me. He was like a patient caregiver, never leaving my side. In a way he reminded me of Max.

Although usually with him the situations were switched.

I can admit he was usually there for me when i had one of my mental breaks, for some reason i was thankful it was Taehyung this time. I didn't feel pressured to explain. Max made me feel comfortable, but somehow Taehyung made me feel even more so.

He slipped down to the floor beside me, back pressed against the door before again pulling me into his arms.

I didn't know what it was, my argument with Joe had not been the most extreme. I had worse before, but something inside me snapped. I couldn't hold everything in anymore. My heart hurt and my mind burned. Everything let go and i experienced it all at once. A bundle of confusing pain that brought tears to my eyes.

Taehyung pulled me close to him and i didnt have the strength to fight it. I laid upon the floor, between his legs with my head rested carefully upon the left one. Gripping into his arm like a needy child not wanting to be let go by their parent.

"Do you want to talk about it then? It seems like you have a lot to let out." He spoke, careful of his tone and careful of his words. I could tell he didn't want to push, but he knew as well as i did that there was so much being held in even after the meltdown.

I feared crying again, like if i spoke up and let everything out the tears would begin to roll down my cheeks in the way they had hours before. I didn't want to cry anymore, but i wanted to be able to speak. I wanted to let myself be comfortable with admitting.
