He sits on the floor, tying the laces of my shoes carefully and slowly. I know by now he is going at this excruciating pace just to make me sit here with him longer. As if I would run off when my shoes were tied. I had already changed my clothes. I wasn't feeling completely brand new, the effects of the night before are sure to haunt me for a while but having someone with me is helpful. I'm glad I'm not alone.

He finishes typing the knot on my left shoe, both pairs now having a matching bow. But grabs my leg and pulls me closer to him to ensure I don't go anywhere.
