THE EXOTIC DANCER CHAPTER 051
"Yes Ma'am"

Please note I'm picking this up like a fucking amateur not reading where I was last (day wise) so if you detective people wanna come and say "Isn't it the day shes off work" or shit like that just know ill fucking fight you lmfao. Were gonna just pretend its fucking Friday. Idk what the last day it was but now its FRIDAY.

..........

I dont remember what days she works....

Well. After i write this chapter I will spend the rest of my night reading my own book.

Love you guys.

"Joe didn't mean to hurt you ya know? He's worried. I know he isn't your father but at this point, he seems like one. Almost everyone's father thinks they know what's best for their child even if they don't."

Taehyung. Lifes mediator.

He sits on the floor, tying the laces of my shoes carefully and slowly. I know by now he is going at this excruciating pace just to make me sit here with him longer. As if I would run off when my shoes were tied. I had already changed my clothes. I wasn't feeling completely brand new, the effects of the night before are sure to haunt me for a while but having someone with me is helpful. I'm glad I'm not alone.

"Do you agree with him? Do I not act like an adult? Am I not doing my job?" I question, wiggling my toes within my sneakers.

Taehyung looks up at me, the sharpness of his eyes softening. "I think if you aren't considered a responsible adult then nobody can be considered a responsible adult. But I also think when your emotions get in the way you can become impulsive. Its...It's an interesting concept for debate. Your life."

"What is there to debate?"

He finishes typing the knot on my left shoe, both pairs now having a matching bow. But grabs my leg and pulls me closer to him to ensure I don't go anywhere. "People may have differing opinions about your capability to parent. A lot of things can be a debate but questioning whether a girl who is a child herself should be parenting another child... Its an interesting talking point."

"That's what my life is to you? A talking point?"

His grip on my leg tightens. "Why do you have to take everything so personally? Are you saying that after you have lived this life you wouldn't worry about other children who would be placed in your shoes because of their situations?"
