What if it was me? - Her

"I'd ask you to talk to me. If you didn't want to talk I'd stay with you because I understand the want to speak up when these thoughts flow through my bloodstream." He says as he watches her tears fall from her face.

Earlier, he tried to wipe them away but she refused.

"Answer me!" She screamed, but it wasn't in anger, it was pain.

He knew this pain too well.

"I'm easily disposable." He laughs lightly. "But not a pretty face like you.

Not a gorgeous woman like you.

But me? So what if it's a little blood. It's only one breath, the last."

He shrugs.

"How can you be so blind?"! She spits. "You matter not only to me but the world!" She exclaims.

"I wish I could make you see that but answer the question. Convince me not to breathe my last breath.

Think. What would you do to stop me?" She says, her voice wavering.

He sighs. "I understand your point that I'd do anything to make sure you'd be okay in this situation." He smirks.

"I'd fight for anyone. I'd give my life for anyone." He says and she doesn't hesitate to speak.

"Don't you think we'd do the same for you?" She glares.

"No." He shrugs. "Why would you? Most people value their lives." He said, blankly.

"Aren't you afraid of death?" He asks.

"Aren't you?" She tenses.

"No." He replied and the look in her eyes changes.

"What is it that you like about me?" She ask.

Looking at her, confused he opens his mouth to speak, before he can she ask.

"Whatever the reason. Do you think it's enough for me to continue breathing?"

He stares at her. "That would be your choice."

"Would you still stop me?" She ask, her tears are silent now, she has control over her voice.

"Of course." He says then looks down at his wrist, there is no blood but the sting reiterates the agony. He's beginning to go numb.

"If I told you the only way to stop me is by loving yourself, would you?" She ask and he is taken aback. He frowns and he feels his heart tug.
