How can one cure the self?
Awareness of self-worth isn't enough to beat the stealth
Of the inner self-destruction that's infused with chemical imbalance.
Medicine intake causes a buffer,
It seeps in the cracks of self-loathing.
However, it is not the solution.
A fix, it is, but temporary.
Love for the self is hardest to find.
Hiding in plain sight, it is.
In the mirror is physical proof of the beauty that society sees.
Mentally, this magnificence is obsolete.
Chills run up the spine as the only 'logical' computation reveals.
To give up is the end.
Or is it the beginning, the solution?
