All you've ever done is great me with a smile.
You've always accepted my hugs.
When I'm nervous, I crack jokes and you laugh.
Genuinely.
At one point I wanted to have you yet you've never treated me less than human.
What eats away at me are insecurities.
For attraction is not love.
Love isn't what this is about, though.
It's about knowing whether or not I am on your mind.
Is there even a chance,
Of an 'us'?
One day I hope to break this curse.
Your mystery, I hope to unveil.
So I can put away these demons,
And focus on what is real.

To The One I've always wanted.
