Dali-dali akong tumayo at lumapit sa pwesto ni Shaun para hilahin siya. Kung ano-ano ang pinagsasabi ng lalaking 'to! "You don't have to say nonsense things!" I shouted while pulling him and bring him inside.
"That was nonsense?" His voice suddenly became serious.
"What the hell do you mean? You can easily ignore my parents' question." Sabi ko at namaywang sa harap niya.
"I have no plan to keep this feeling secret." He answered which made me look at him with confusion. "I have prepared ways of confessing to you, the first one was at the resort, and the second one was... right now." Pagpapatuloy niya na tuluyan nang nagpatahimik sa akin.
"It was a relief that your parents have known it first, you won't have a hard time telling them." Sambit niyang muli.
"I have no time for jokes, Shaun!" Inis kong sagot, pero ang totoo ay nagpipigil na ako rito ng kilig.
Because of what he said, a part of my heart jumped in joy. How could this guy like me? He kept on ignoring me before! He hates my presence, he always rolls his eyes on me and even shouts at me before. Did he develop his feelings for me because of our friendship?
"You know that I never joke around," his face became blank. "I like you, and I am willing to court you for months or even years." He said and held my hand.
I am not used to how he acts right now! I stayed silent for the next few seconds before we went back to the garden. He was smiling when we got back while I was still shocked about everything he just confessed. Their gaze went to us nang makita nila kami.
"Tapos na ang torpe era mo, pre!" Kantyaw ni Ren.
"Hijo, I honestly like you for my daughter. But she hasn't turned eighteen yet. Are you willing to wait for months before we can allow you to court her?" Mom talked as soon as get back to my seat.
"Yes, Tita. I have already told you po about it. Don't worry, I meant everything I have said." Shaun politely answered which made my Dad smile.
"You knew, Mom? Dad?" Taka kong tanong.
"Yes, we talked yesterday." Mommy simply answered which made my eyes widen.
Kaya pala! Kaya pala ganoon nalang ang pagiging usisero nila nang makauwi kami kahapon! Siguro kinompronta agad ni Kuya si Shaun nung inabutan ako ng tubig kaya ganoon ang nangyari. Speaking of the twins, it's a little bit odd kasi hindi ako nakakarinig sa kanila ng disapproval! Si Kuya Daniell, tahimik pa rin pero nagsasalita naman iyan kapag may ayaw siya sa nangyayari.
"Did you bribe my brothers?" I raised my brow at Shaun. "What?" Gulat nitong tanong.
Muntik nang masamid sina Kuya dahil sa naging tanong ko. Everyone laughed while watching us argue. "Kuya! Why are you not saying a thing?" naiinis kong tanong, they were supposed to be the one to protect me!
"Malaki ka na!" Kuya Dylann answered. "Yeah," Kuya Daniell agrees.
"Mom! Dad!" Pagsumbong ko pero tinawanan lang nila ako.
Okay, if my family approves maybe Shaun deserves a chance to prove himself. Napuno ng asaran at laglagan ang naganap habang ipinagpapatuloy namin ang pagkain. Matagal na raw pala akong gusto ni Shaun, and he is having a hard time getting a chance to confess. Know I know kung bakit biglang nagiging sweet ang trato niya sa akin lately. It is not me being assuming but he is doing it on purpose! Another one is his weird actions while we were at the resort. He is jealous of Joshua!
"Are you guys aware of his plan of confessing today?" Pag-usisa ko kina Raine at Zouie.
Boys and girls are now separated, kasama na nina Daddy at Kambal ang mga kaibigan naming lalaki at nagiinuman. We are drinking a wine that mom provided. Hindi na siya sumama sa aming mga babae dahil may work daw siyang gagawin.
"Hindi! Nagulat nalang din kami, alam namin na may balak siyang umamin pero hindi namin alam na ngayon." Zouie answered.
"Bagay kayo!" Lara giggled.
"May pag-asa ba, girl?" Raine asked, switching the chill atmosphere into a serious one.
"Honestly, I have developed feelings for him too." I answered.
Malakas silang tumili kaya naagaw namin ang atensyon ng mga kalalakihan. "What happened?" nagaalalang tanong ng mga ito. Aktong lalapit pa sila pero pinigilan ko, "We are okay!"
"Since when?" Kinikilig na tanong nila. "Bakla ka! Sabi na hindi mo kakayanin charisma ni Shaun eh!" Bok said which made me laugh.
"I don't know when it started, basta ang alam ko lang masaya ako umamin na siya. I am not confused in his actions na." I answered and they all nodded.
"How about you, Lara? Seems like Roj and you are getting close ha. Akala mo hindi ko napapansin?" Paglilipat ko ng topic. Lara suddenly blushed after I mentioned Roj.
"We're already dating." She shyly said which made us gasp.
How come we didn't notice that the two of them were already going out? Mang-aasar lang dapat ako pero it turns out that there is really more than that! Lara explained when they started dating, they were already in 2 weeks relationship. So, sila na habang nasa resort pa kami. "Bruha ka! Kasama mo ako sa bahay, hindi mo sinasabi sa akin!" Pagsabunot ni Bokbok kay Lara.
"Sorry na! Roj requested na gulatin namin kayo sa monthsary namin eh! Kaso, hindi ko na mapigilan. Please keep it as a secret muna." Lara pleaded kaya pumayag namin kami. Pero hindi kami nangako na hindi namin sila aasarin.
Nang lumingon ako kay Zouie, "Sorry girl, I am not interested to anyone." She defended. Alam na alam na niya na siya ang susunod kong target eh!
"Oh! Kami ni Ren, walang kami! Gusto niya manligaw pero isa siyang bwisit sa buhay ko kaya hindi ako napayag." Raine defended when I turned my gaze on her.
"Are you sure that both of you are just friends?" Pagtaas ko ng kilay. "Oo! Kaibigan tingin ko sa kaniya, pero ewan ko sa kaniya kung ano ang tingin niya sa akin. Nahihibang na rin ang isang 'yon!" Raine said continuously.
She's being so obvious!
