After speeding away from Namjoon the day went by way too fast for your taste. It had slipped past whilst you were distracted, and you dreaded having to go to see Minho again. To make matters even worse... When you got outside, he was waiting for you leaning against his dumb car.

"What are you doing here," you asked in a flat voice.

"Someone's in a mood. I'm here to pick my lovely little sister up so we can spend some time together." he retorted in a smooth voice and a stupid smirk. You stopped mid-step, crossing your arms over your chest as you refused to do anything other than stare at him until he explained further, doubting that he only wanted to spend time with you. "Come on, get in the car. You got a text message."

Ah. So that's what he wanted. You felt your heart sink in your stomach as you got into the passenger seat, snatching your phone out of the pocket of Minho's jacket.

"How the hell did you crack my code" you muttered angrily as you unlocked your phone.

"Well, first of all, I know you. Second of all, I'm smarter than you give me credit for. Now would you mind telling me who sent you that threat and why someone seems to know what happened?"

Unknown: You still have to get punished for what you did to Sungmin and his pack. Don't think we're letting you go that easily.

You leaned back, closing your eyes. You only knew seven werewolves. Which one of those brats thought it would be a good idea to text you after you warned them. Hoseok and Jin were out of the picture as you had their numbers saved and quite frankly you felt as if it probably wasn't either of them. Namjoon? Would he really be that stupid? You had just talked to him earlier, why would he bring this up now. You clutched your phone against your chest. Had another member of Sungmin's pack seen you and slipped away when you and Minho hadn't noticed?

"I have no idea." You whispered.

"Liar."

You felt tears well up in your eyes, not being able to stop them from rolling down your cheeks as you sniffled. You missed Jin. You missed being his friend, you missed being close to him even after just being apart for the weekend. It was even worse being able to see him at school and then not talking to him, at Minho's apartment at least you could blame not having your phone. You missed Jin's touch. This was what you wanted not to happen; Minho finding out. A repetition of Minhyuk.

"Even if it is a lie I wouldn't tell you" you managed to get out, turning your head towards the window away from him as he kept driving.

"You're so fucking selfish sometimes" Minho huffed. That was the second time you had been called selfish and you wouldn't just sit and take it this time either. You reached out and grabbed the handbrake, yanking it up.  It was a good thing you were on a smaller road with currently no traffic as the car came to an abrupt stop.

"At least I'm not heartless" you yelled at your brother, sobs bubbling up your throat. "I'm not afraid of them, I'm not afraid of werewolves! I'm afraid of loneliness! I'm afraid of being lonely and unliked and an outsider for the rest of my life! And every fucking time I start feeling like maybe I belong somewhere you have to go ruin it! Do you really not care about me? Do you really not care about my emotions?"

"Hey, that's-"

"Shut the fuck up, Minho. Just... Shut up. You've always been the favourite child, and I admit yeah maybe I am not as strong emotionally or physically as you." you were shaking, your vision nothing but a blur by now. You felt like you were going to throw up after bottling all these emotions up for years and years. "You never had to go to auntie. You never went through that. Being stripped of everything that made you... you. I had my identity taken from me. That horrible box! No windows! I couldn't even take comfort in watching life outside of that nightmare of a room! It wasn't to help me they sent me there. They sent me there to manipulate me, to fuck with my brain. I can't even- I can't even put to words what I went through. I- I'm not letting you hurt them because they made me realize I deserve to not go through that. And I don't- I don't want to be alone."

You refused to look Minho in the eyes as you choked for air, throat feeling like it was on fire and spreading over the skin on your face. You fumbled with the seatbelt and stumbled out of the car to try and get away, not being able to think clearly. You didn't notice Minho coming after you until he had his much stronger arms around your body, clutching you against him like he was trying to trap you. You struggled until you realized he wasn't hurting you, he was trying to embrace you. It reminded you of times when you were younger, Minho is the one sticking up for you when other kids picked on you and when your parents were away.

Your phone rang, still clutched in your hands. Lips quivering you tried to squirm out of your brother's grip, catching sight of the name of your screen. Feeling dizzy your reaction time wasn't exactly on top, so Minho could easily snatch the phone out of your hands. You yelped, trying to get it back but he was taller than you. He pressed the screen and you thought he declined the call, but you realized what he was doing when he put the phone against his ear, thin eyes staring down into yours.
