Sorry for the long wait, but as I promised. Here it is!
The soft noise of Rosetta cooing woke you up from your dreamless sleep, it didn't take much to wake you as you hadn't slept much that night. Thoughts of your father, classes and of course Tom plagued your mind, causing you to toss and turn all night. Pushing yourself up off the bed, you placed your bare feet on the cold floor, tingles instantly shooting down your spine as you shivered from the cold touch. Even though the lack of sleep, you were surprisingly not that tired, your senses wide awake as your ears slowly began to focus on the soft snores of your curly haired friend. Giggling to yourself, you looked over to your right to see Nancy still fast asleep, her auburn hair rested so messily that you could hardly tell which way she was facing.
You grabbed your clothes from the chest at the bottom of your bed, picking a long-sleeved plain black top, paired with a cream knee length skirt. Although autumn was coming to an end, winter was barely beginning to settle in, and luckily the weather hadn't been turning too cold too fast, it was only the case of harsh rain and wind every so often. You trudged your way to the girl's bathroom and stepped into the shower right at the end of the large chamber. You let the shower run for a while, steam slowly begging to creep its way around the room, creating a misty glow as you set your clothes to the side and hopped in, pulling the curtains around you before finally stepping under the burning water. You closed your eyes and let out a soft moan, the water working its magic as it loosened up all the cramps and tension in your muscles from your sore sleep last night.
A smile slowly crept its way onto your face as your mind wandered to Tom, ever since that night in the astronomy tower it was almost impossible to shake him off your mind. You had beaten yourself up over it constantly, convincing yourself that it was just a stupid crush when truly you knew it was more than that. Your heart would flutter at the sight of his chocolate brown eyes, or the small genuine smiles he would wear whenever you were alone. You would never admit it to him, but you thought it was he was truly beautiful when he smiled, the way his chocolate orbs would squint in happiness, the small dimples that would emerge on his porcelain cheeks and the way he'd bite those pink lips whilst trying to hide his smile, drove you utterly mad.
You let out a deep sigh and rinsed the suds off your body, twisting the knob of the shower before stepping into your fluffy white towel. Your eyes widened slightly as the bathroom was drowned in mist, the other end of the chamber barely even visible to you from the back wall. You hadn't realised how long you had taken but it was barely a big deal, it was fairly early and there was no way the other girls would be awake at this time, especially on a Saturday. Quickly throwing on your clothes and a touch of lip gloss and mascara, you nodded at your appearance and made your way back to the dorms.
The old wooden door creaked slightly as you pushed it open as you peaked your head through, checking to see if anyone was awake, which no one was. After putting your things away, you debated on whether to wake Nancy up or not, however decided against it. She had to suffer the endurance of hours of quidditch practice every day this week and today was her only day off, so you decided to be a good friend and let her sleep in.
You couldn't help but scoff at the sight of her, her arms and legs flailed over each side of the bed, hair strangling her face as her glasses lay on the floor beneath her bed. You folded the glasses and put them on the small bedside table to her right, brushing her hair out of her face to reveal her smooth pale skin. Kissing the top of her head softly, you giggled as she grunted and jerked slightly before pulling away and making your way to the common room, shutting the door softly behind you.

It was already midday and Sirius, James, Remus and Peter had all managed to convince your trio to join them on the Gryffindor table for lunch, you had denied their request at first, but Sirius's puppy dog eyes had managed to win you over. It had been quite awkward walking to over to their table, it earnt you a few odd stares but fortunately the majority of the Gryffindors were more than welcoming.
