A couple of days had passed since Christmas and things were almost too perfect. Your father had left during the afternoon of Boxing Day, claiming that he had important business to sort out back at your home in France. The tense goodbye between your father and Tom had not gone unnoticed by you, however Tom was insistent that it was nothing.
Toms birthday was fast approaching and although you had splashed a fair bit of money on your numerous Christmas gifts for Tom and your family, you made sure you had a good amount left to spend on his birthday. You had both spent the day in London, showing him around your favourite spots, which there were quite a few of, but also to see if something caught yours, or his eye that you could quickly snatch without his notice. Sadly, the only thing Tom seemed mildly interested in was the hot chocolate that you both sat down to have in one of your favourite café's just before it closed for the night.
"Tommmmm" your voice rang out from your bathroom as you prepared yourself for bed.
He replied with a soft grunt as he lay on the side of the bed, he claimed has his.
"Well... your birthday is approaching, and I was wondering if there was anything in particular you wanted... or needed!" You shyly step into the bedroom, fiddling with your fingers as you rock back and forth on your feet.
He sighs heavily and rolls his eyes, patting the side of the bed next to him as he throws back the covers.
"You've got me more than enough for Christmas, far more than I could have ever wished for" he takes your hand as he pulls you closer next to him. "I don't want, or need anything for my birthday so please don't spend any more money, I'd prefer If you saved it"
"But Tom I can't not get you anything, it's your birthday!" You whined, pouting slightly.
"It's nothing important" He says and pulls you into his lap, so you straddle him. "Even though you practically forced me to spend Christmas with you, I would say it's most definitely one of my fondest memories... I don't believe I need anything more truthfully" His voice softened as he finished, causing a toothy grin to form on your face.
"Well I'm glad my good persuasive skills came to use, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to forget about a birthday gift, if it makes you feel better, it would make ME happy to get you something" You reply as you fiddle with the hairs at the back of his neck.
"I'm not going to be able to convince you otherwise am I?" He murmured as he buried his face in your neck, planting soft kisses along it.
"I'm glad you finally realise that, I can be very stubborn when I want to be" you giggle and tilt your head slightly, sighing softly as his touch grew more passionate.
"However... there is one thing I would like to request" You could feel him smile against your neck before bringing his head back to meet your gaze.
"What would that be?" You tilted your head curiously as you catch the dangerous glint in his eyes, a shiver rubbing down your spine in response.
His strong hands gripped your waist firmly before turning you both over so he now lay atop of you, his chest pressed against yours as he peppers kisses along your cheek, his thumbs tracing circles on your now exposed hips as your nightgown rose significantly during his actions.
"I think you already know" He murmurs in your ear, the deep rumble in his chest sending vibrations through yours causing you to grip onto his shoulders tightly.
"T-Tom I've N-never -"
"I know" he whispers, "Me neither" He pulls back and brushes the hair from your face gently as he gazed down at you. "But I know that I want you and though it pains me to say, but I need you"
