Night # 222 The Next In Line

I ran into their bedroom and saw my aunt and uncle sleeping. The scratching on the walls woke them up and I screamed at them to run. They were jumping out of bed to run for the door. I tried to distract the creature but it did no good. I reached for the creature's shadow but I did not accomplish anything.

I watched helplessly as the invisible creature tore into my aunt and uncle. No matter what I did it did not distract the creature from what he had obviously aimed to do. I asked the creature why it was killing the people close to me and I received a response I did not understand.
