Night # 250 The Scary Story Part 2

I was waiting on my order when the waitress came to the strange man's table to take his order. She must have noticed him shaking and showing signs of being scared because she asked him what was wrong. I was surprised when he started telling her his story. Most people would have kept it to themselves and went ahead and ordered. What I overheard shocked me to the core.

"I was driving back from seeing my parents who live out of state when I noticed what looked like a lifeless body in the middle of the road. I stopped my car on the side of the road and went to check it out. As I approached the body I leaned down to check for a pulse because it did not appear to me that the person was alive. I felt nothing and started to take my hand away. As I did I felt a hand gripping my arm.
