I was nervous about my first night as I walked into the nursing home. I went to the front desk to clock in for the night and put my badge on so they would know who I was. I met the three other nurses who would be covering the night shift with me and I must say they were all very nice. It made me feel a little less nervous.
They showed me the north wing which I would be covering for the night and left me at the nurse's station to go to the wings they were working. I sat there in the eerie silence as I waited to make my hourly rounds.
