Night # 258 Terrifying Tales Part 2

"Years ago before all the woods were cleared out there was this small house right in the middle of the woods. There was this young couple who lived in it with their son. One night the couple went out leaving their son home alone. He was only ten years old. They came back a few hours later and they discovered that the power had gone out in the house. It was not surprising given the storm that had just passed through.

They had told their son on many occasions to use a flashlight which they kept in a drawer in the kitchen for emergencies. They looked through the house to try and find any sign of a flashlight being used but they could not. They thought maybe he had gotten tired and went to bed but when they checked his bed he was not in it.
