This next chilling tale involves a scary story being overheard and it's haunting effects.

I was driving home from seeing my parents out of state when I stopped at an all-night restaurant. I went inside and the waitress told me to sit anywhere I like and she would come to take my order in just a few minutes. I sat there looking over the menu when I saw this strange man with a trench coat sit down in the booth behind me.

I could not see his face very clearly but there was something off about it. He looked like he was shaken up and scared of something. The waitress came over to my table to take my order and I quickly ordered a breakfast plate with some coffee. I knew it was going to be a long night of driving and I needed the boost.
