The two officers came back into the room. "We have something to show you and we would like you to read it thoroughly." They handed me a file that was from five years earlier. I sat in shock as I read the files.
"LOCAL NURSING HOME BURNS TO THE GROUND"
Firefighters responded to a call placed by an unknown source on December 22nd, 2014. According to the caller she was sleeping in her car when she noticed flames from a nearby nursing home. By the time firefighters arrived, it was too late. Everyone in the building had died.
Upon further inspection, firefighters discovered that the fire had been caused by water getting on one of the electrical outlets in a resident's room starting sparks.
