We will take good care of him, Officer." The officer left the room and the doctor told me that he would explain things to me once I got some rest. He left the room turning the light off. I was terrified at this point because my neighbors had been out of town for the past few days so it left me to wonder who the officer had really been speaking to.
I went to try and sneak out of the room when suddenly someone came back into the room. He turned around and all the blood drained out of my face.
