Casimir Kosinki (OC): Fifth-year Hufflepuff prefect and prefect partner to Amelia Bones, Casimir is also one of the Polish expatriates. Hard-working and quiet. Amelia considered him as a good partner before in classes; so far, she'd been content with his actions in the one-month they've been prefects. The classes he shares with Hermione are Advanced Arithmancy and Advanced Astronomy.
He Anglicised his first name without second thought (he considered it better than to have people constantly misspelling it). Casimir is the English form of the Polish name Kazimierz, derived from the Slavic element kaziti "to destroy" combined with miru "peace, world".
First Appearance: He is first present in the prefect meeting in Hogsmeade in Chapter 41 ("Aftermath"), but he is not specifically introduced and it may be difficult to pinpoint him among other, more outspoken prefects. He is also present in Chapter 54 ("Returns to Hogwarts") as well as Chapter 55 ("Les explosions à l'école I").
