Prudence Thicknesse (OC): Fifth-year Slytherin witch who happens to also take Advanced Potions. More homely than beautiful, she's not exactly one known for her ideas or initiative, but you can't argue that she's not steadfast and loyal to her friends. One of Jemima Avery's close friend other than Violetta Carrow. She's noticeably taller than most witches her age with a solid and big bone structure.
She dislikes Hermione for making Jemima fret (for the first time in Prudence's memory), but that mild dislike isn't exactly something unusual or extraordinary among the current Hogwarts denizens as Curie is a polarising figure, particularly for certain kinds of purebloods. Hermione herself only vaguely remembers Prudence, and she certainly can't recall the Slytherin's name if asked.
First Appearance: In Chapter 30 ("On Conjurations and Accidents") as part of Jemima Avery's posse confronting Hermione.
