Fidelis Derwent (OC): Sixth-year Hufflepuff who shares ADADA as well as Advanced Herbology and Advanced Care of Magical Creatures with Hermione. Fidelis makes it far through Defence class through sheer dogged determination and lots of practice. The fact that he shares more than two classes with Hermione meant that they're familiar classmates with each other. He also happens to be one of Spore's teaching assistants in Herbology.
Fidelis is a Late Latin name meaning 'faithful'.
First Appearance: A peripheral character, he first appears at the end of the Second Arc in Chapter 60 ("The Dissolution of Jemima Avery"). He also appears with Anja Zamoyska in Chapter 70 ("Intermezzo – Solstice and Rituals").
