Lysandra Burke (OC): Fifth-year Gryffindor witch. Lysandra Burke is not amused at the average pureblood because she's part of the Sacred 28, still related to the Blacks and descendant of one of Hogwarts' headmasters (Phineas Nigellus Black). Here, the Burkes run the largest private lending library in England. She loves books as much as other Burke family members, and woe betide any fool that gets in her way.
She shares four classes with Hermione; Advanced Transfiguration, ADADA, Advanced Ancient Runes and Advanced Arithmancy.
Her impatience to almost everything else unrelated to books might be a contribution as to why she ended up in Gryffindor. That, and she really does not like being intimidated by anyone and would rather fight back, whatever the odds are. She does realise that her aggressiveness is unbecoming in a lady, and overcompensates in other areas (appearance and grooming is one), leading her to almost always end up asking Lucretia for beauty and fashion advice when she was a second or third year. Now, they regularly meet for tea.
Of course, technically she could've asked Walburga rather than Lucretia for advice, but she considered that her ears would thank her if she spared them Walburga's nagging. Lucretia is certainly far calmer than her cousin.
If one has to classify her, Lysandra is actually a politically apathetic misanthrope. Her opinion on purebloods is that they are'inbred prats'. Her opinion on muggleborns is that they 'clueless twats'. While halfbloods are 'walking identity crises waiting to happen'.
