Jemima Avery (OC): Fifth-year Slytherin prefect (Tom's prefect partner from his year). She shares Advanced Potions and Advanced Charms with Tom. The Averys are not only purebloods, they're also part of the Sacred 28. Her first name means 'dove' in Hebrew. Blonde, beautiful and taught very well of how to show herself to her best advantage in the cutthroat competition of finding the best appropriate husband (Marriage is Serious Business among the purebloods), she's one of the few classical pureblooded princess of Slytherin House. Too clingy for Tom's peace of mind. She is the younger sister of Irwin Avery.
First appearance: First appears in passing in Chapter 16 ("Mobilisations and Responses") in the Slytherin common room in Tom's perspective. Her first in-depth scene is in Chapter 30 ("On Conjurations and Accidents") with Hermione.
As of Mid-Second Arc: Slightly hostile, as she considers Hermione a pest and annoyance for Tom's attention, especially since she had failed to warn Hermione off him.
