Mordred Montmorency (OC): Sixth year Slytherin prefect, cousin to theFrench Gryffindor Maximilien de Montmorency. Mordred is a notable memberof the Wizarding Society of Better Governance. Like Oswin,Mordred is glad that Tom Riddle was such a dependable and capable prefect becauseit allowed him to ease back from most speeches and crowd-controlresponsibilities once Tom stepped into it. He's quite aware that he's a rathercerebral person that fails to display the appropriate amounts of sympathy andempathy to other people, and is better at the administrative and technical sideof his prefect duties.
He is fully aware that his family is a cadet branch of the main Montmorency, that is, the Montmorency of France (with a particle to their name). He just wishes Maximilien is less of a snob about it. Thus, the relations between Mordred and Maximilien are, if cordial, mostly tepid. The classes he shares with Tom are Advanced Charms, Advanced Ancient Runes and Advanced Astronomy.
First Appearance: With the Wizarding Society of Better Governance along with Emma and Oswin in Chapter 19 ("Countermoves"). Doesn't surface again until Chapter 46 ("The Ministry Man"). He got pulled along by Paul and Peter Prewettinto their next plan to help some mutual friends of theirs since he's both aprefect and someone who took ADADA II in [REDACTED] [Until chapter is uploaded]
