Nakovas pov
3 weeks after Kendal's party me Jj and Kendal decided to do something, the 3 of us and go to a soft play area. Kendal was at mine that day so me and my baby girl met Jj there. Kendal went in and played while me and Jj sat at a table and watched her and we talked a lot.
"You look good today you know Kova" Jj said with his head tilted to one side slightly
I just laughed and sipped my drink
"I'm being serious" he said smirking
"Let's not start this again" I replied smiling but shaking my head
"Start what" Jide replied laughing
"Flirting with me" I replied raising my brows at Jj
"You think that's my flirting Kova" he replied confidently
"I was with you for years hun, I know when you are flirting" I replied giving the confidence back
"Really, you got a thick ass momma"
"that's my flirting" Jj joked
I laughed "fuck off" rolling my eyes playfully
"You love it don't lie" Jj said back before
adjusting his bandana on his head
"Loved, loveD" I over pronounced the D.
"Okay, I am sorry about everything though
Nakova, you know that right" he replied looking into my eyes
"I mean no I didn't really know Jj, you never really seemed to care the last two yeads or so" I said looking away
"But I care about you and Kendal so much , I do and I'll make it up to you two" he said
"Woah, slow down. I appreciate it but we're not doing this again. Doing us again, at least not right now" I replied standing my ground
"I respect that and I regret past decisions Kova but you know there's always going to be love there" he stated clearly back to me
"Yeah I know, I love you , you know that but I'm just not sure it will ever be the same again, but Thankyou for everything, and I never said, you look lush too" I replied smiling before sipping my drink and Kendal came running up to us out of breath from running around in the play area.
"You having fun baby girl" Jj said reaching down to Kendal to pick her up and sit her on the seat next to him , opposite my side of the table.
"Yeah can I have a drink daddy" Kendal said before Jj lifted her and got up to get our girl a drink. "You want one" he said
"Nah I'm good" I replied and checked my phone while they went to get a drink
