Things change || BTS

Part 9

At the beginning of the year, we could all choose a creative subject that we wanted to study this year every Tuesday, and I picked Music. Mostly because I enjoy listening to music and the other subjects either sucked or the teacher did, so music it is. The thing about Music is that I don't sing and I don't play any instruments... So I've kinda only been learning a few techniques to make some beats and other than that, I've spent most of my time having fun with the other people having this class. All of my friends picked the subject except Bella. We picked our own groups and then all have to make a full song at the end of each month in that group. The thing about my group is that we are all really lazy when we have the chance, and our music teacher has been really loose, so we haven't made too much work. Actually, we haven't really started the song. We have two weeks left before we have to play the song in front of the class, but we all know that's not enough time to make a whole song.

So as I walk into this class I already feel the stress hitting me. Namjoon, Jin and Taehyung are already sitting at our usual table when Jimin and I enter the class. Jungkook always comes late, and Hoseok is probably with him.

When our Teacher Mr Wilson is about to start the class, Hoseok and Jungkook come running inside, but behind them comes Yoongi. He really has to be in this class, doesn't he? Mr Wilson greets him and makes him stop in front of the class.

"So Yoongi Min has chosen to join our class and he needs to join a group as well. So is there any of you guys who are a little behind on schedule and might need some help?" He asks and we all look at each other. I know we need help but from Yoongi? I don't know if that's going to go well. I look at Namjoon who looks at us with hoping eyes.

"We could use some help guys..." He whispers and everyone looks back at me.

"If you say no, we won't do it" Jimin says. We really could use the help.

"He can join" I say and Namjoon smiles while putting a hand in the air.

"Yes, Namjoon Kim? Do you want Yoongi Min's help?" Mr. Wilson asks.

"That would make it so much easier to finish the song" He says and Mr Wilson nods and pushes Yoongi down to our table.

"Remember that the song is due to not next week, but next week again, but today we have to cut the lesson short because I have to go early. You have to log down in 5 minutes" Mr Wilson says. 5 minutes... We can't do much with that.

"Welcome to the team Yoongi" Namjoon says and smiles at Yoongi. Namjoon is too polite, it hurts.

"Thank you. Can I? Ehm, can I listen to what you've made so far?" Yoongi asks and we again look at each other like big question marks.

"We haven't really started the song... That's kinda why we were looking for extra help" Namjoon says.

"Well that's a small problem" Yoongi says.

"I was thinking that I would add you to our group chat and then we can all find out what we are gonna do over there?" Namjoon says and we all nod.

"Sounds good" Yoongi says.

"By the way, what do you do? Like when it comes to music? Is it singing? Or maybe some guitar?" Hoseok asks curiously.

"I rap" He says without any hesitation.

"That's cool! So do Joonie and I!" Hoseok says.

"Kookie, Chim Chim, Jin and Tae all sing" Hoseok adds.

"And what about her?" Yoongi asks and looks at me. I don't dare look back, but I can feel his eyes the whole time.

"She mostly makes the music, like beats and stuff with Joonie. We try to help sometimes, but they do a great job" Hoseok says and I smile. There haven't been too many complimenting my beat skills yet, so it makes me happy to hear that he likes it.

"That's it guys, I'm really sorry for cutting you short, but I can't leave this room with only students and I have an important meeting" Mr Wilson says and we all put our computers down our bags.

"Have a nice rest of the day" Mr. Wilson says as we one by one walk out of the door. I really needed to get off early today, I have a mild headache so I'm glad that I can go home and just relax.
