The world around Darken slowly began to form again. It appeared he was now in the city of Jarlaheim.

He scanned his surroundings. No one was in the city, only the faint sounds of talking people emerging from one of the buildings causing him to whirl around.

A group of teenagers were walking out of the structure, followed by one raven haired girl.

Ophelia.

She had her hair pulled back in a slick ponytail and held her books close to her chest. She was walking out alone.

Everyone exiting the building were either laughing or talking with one another, but not Ophelia. She kept to herself.

Darken looked to his side, there were a few girls who continued to laugh and point at her as she walked out. However, she didn't acknowledge the bullies at all.

He sighed aloud. "Too alike." He mumbled.

He began to follow her once again, but the longer he trailed behind, the longer he began to notice she wasn't walking toward the exit of the city. The two of them soon became faced with the entrance to a dark alleyway.

Ophelia scanned her surroundings before making her way down the dark path.

This decision made Darken furrow his eyebrows. Why would she need to go down an alleyway? Was she hiding? Was she looking for something? Was she meeting someone? There was a reason he was being shown this. He took in a heavy inhale before following her.

She was now no longer walking. She was jogging. But, to what?

Darken transitioned into a jog to keep up with her. The deeper they got into the alley way, the narrower the walls got, and the more the quietness grew.

It was all interrupted when he saw her run into the arms of a boy. His grasp was tight around her waist, holding her close into a hug. They kept in one another's embrace for a moment before Ophelia pulled out of his grasp, beginning to reach into the pocket of her backpack. "I think we finally got him, Crimson.."

Crimson made a hard line with his lips as he watched her rummage through her bag. "That easy?"

Darken's eyes were growing wider by every sentence that escaped their lips.

Ophelia finally pulled out her journal, flipping through the pages before pointing to a picture of what looked like a creature with long tentacles.

"Is that-?"

"Yes." She swallowed.

"You know where he is?"

She studied the drawing. "We know where he's planning to escape."

He looked at her with a worried gaze. It was clear to Darken that Crimson knew all about the Soul Riders, Druids, and most importantly, Dark Core.

Darken inched a few steps closer to the talking pair.

Crimson pushed down the journal so he could make eye contact with her. "O.."

She looked up at his pleading eyes.

"I really don't think this is the best move."

She returned her look to the page. Crimson cared deeply for her, the last thing she would want to do would be to let him down. "It was Elizabeth's idea. She trusts that the Soul Riders finish the job."

"Yes but-" He scanned his surroundings before finishing. "Garnok?" He whispered.

"The Soul Riders can take them." She stated in a confident manner. "Trust me on this."
