*Meet Brittany Styles*
Hi, my name is Brittany Styles. I'm 17 years old and I am a senior at a high school in London. My best friends include Katey Horan, Bailey Malik, Julie Payne, and Lexi Tomlinson. We do anything and everything together. Not to mention we share everything with each other. Well, almost everything. I haven't told them my love for singing or the act that I want to make it a career. I haven't even told my parents that I want make a career out of singing, let alone that I can actually sing. It's sort of been my one secret that I've kept to myself for as long as I can remember.
You see, dad gets really weird whenever someone mentions music around him. He doesn't even listen to music on the radio in the car. Dad even hates those singing competitions you see on TV. So I haven't told him that I haven't missed an episode of the X Factor for several years. I also haven't told him or mom that I am going to be auditioning for the X Factor tomorrow. Heck, I haven't even told the girls what my plans are. I just told mom and dad that I'm going over to Bailey's for the day. Let's hope my parents don't catch me in the lie. I know for a fact that I would most likely be grounded for lying to my parents and going off to audition for the X Factor.
"BRIT! HURRY UP! YOU"RE GOING TO BE LATE FOR SCHOOL!" I heard my mother yell from the bottom of the stairs.
"COMING!" I yelled back.
Well, I guess I better be going. Cross your fingers everything goes according to plan.
