*Brittany's POV*

The time has finally come. It is the second result show and the girls are nervous about the results, but not as nervous as we were last week. From both the judges response and the audiences response, we really shouldn't be worried, but we can't help it. We automatically get nervous when the fate of our career on this show is on the line.

"Whatever happens tonight, just know that we did amazing and you girls are amazing. Know that we worked hard to get where we are and we will continue to work hard if we do or don't make it to the next live show." Julie said, giving us a pep talk, which shook me from my thoughts.

We all just nodded in response as we waited for the crew member to call the contestants to the stage. After what felt like forever, the crew member finally arrived back stage.

"All contestants make your way to the stage for the results!" The crew member yelled before walking back toward the stage.

"Well girls, here goes nothing." Lexi stated as we followed the contestants to the stage.

When we finally arrived on stage, I noticed that we were still on commercial break, which was good. It gave me extra time to take a few more deep breaths before we receive the results.

"Girls, whatever happens tonight, know that I am so proud of you and this is not the end of the road." Simon said with a slight smile as he approached us.

We all just nodded in response as the crew member indicated that we were ready to go back on the air.

"And we're on in 3...2...1..." The crew member stated before pointing at the host, indicating that we were live.

"Ladies and gentlemen welcome back to the X Factor. I have in my hand the envelope, which holds the fate of one unfortunate contestant who will be leaving us tonight." The host said as he motioned toward the envelope that was in his hand.

The host continued to talk for a few moments. I don't know what he was talking about really. I wasn't really paying any attention. I was just nervously waiting for him to announce the contestant that was going home tonight. To be quite honest, it felt like he was taking forever to announce the results. I just want to know if I will be staying another week or going home to face the wrath of my parents.

"And now, it is time to announce the unlucky contestant that will be leaving us tonight. The contestant going home tonight is..." The host finally told the audience.

The host opened up envelope and quietly read the name before lookin back at the camera.

"Jocelynn Garcia." The host announced as Jocelynn slumped over in disappointment.

"Everyone, give it up for Jocelynn." The host said as the crowd cheered. "And that is it for the show tonight. Tune in next week to watch the rest of our contestants perform. Goodnight everyone."

"And cut! That's a wrap everyone!" A crew member yelled once we were finally off the air.

And just like that the girls and I were off to another live show. Once we were off the air the girls and I let out a breath that we didn't know we were holding as we hugged each other in excitement.

"Congratulations girls! I never doubted you for a second." Simon said with a huge smile.

"Thank you!" We all said in unison.

"Okay, now that we definitely know we are going to the next round, you girls need to go get some rest back at the hotel. You girls have a long day ahead of you tomorrow. You will be picking the next song you will be performing at the next live show. Plus we are going to start rehearsing once you've picked a song." Simon explained and we just nodded.

The girls and I made our way outside and found Paul waiting for us with the car. Paul has been our driver ever since we were in bootcamp and to be honest, we have grown quite close to him. As a matter of fact, we have grown quite close to both Simon and Paul. They have become like our fathers ever since we started. It is nice to know that we have someone here supporting us every step of the way. Hopefully our fathers will be as supportive when they find out that we have been on the exact TV show that they do not like one bit.
