*Katey's POV*

"Simon wants to talk to all five of us." Bailey said bluntly.

"WHAT?!" The four of us basically shouted in the empty waiting room.

"What do you mean he wants to talk to us?" Brittany asked.

"What does he want?" Lexi added.

"I have no idea. He was very vague." Bailey replied.

"Do you know how long he said he was going to be?" I asked.

"Nope." Bailey said, popping the 'p'.

"Good." I said.

We waited anxiously in the waiting room for about a half an hour before Simon finally showed up. But he wasn't alone. He was with Ed Sheeran.

"Good, you're all still here." Simon said happily as we walked up with Ed.

"Yeah, we're all kind of curious as to why you wanted to talk to us." Bailey stated.

"Why don't we all sit down, shall we?" Simon said, pointing at the chairs that were still set up in the waiting room.

"So, why did you want to talk to us?" Julie asked curiously as soon as we all sat down.

"Well, I wanted to talk to you about your parents." Simon stated.

"Our parents?" We questioned in unison.

"Well, you're fathers specifically." Ed said, speaking for the first time since him and Simon came out here.

"What about our fathers?" Brittany asked in confusion.

"Do you know what they used to do for a living?" Simon asked.

"Um, no. I think I can speak for the girls when I say our fathers have had the same jobs for as long as we could remember." Lexi stated.

"Well, have you ever heard of a band called One Direction?" Simon asked.

"Nope." The five of us girls said in unison, popping the 'p'.

"Well, years ago, they were the biggest boy band in the world. They had millions have fans across the world. They probably still do." Ed explained.

"What's so special about this band?" Julie asked.

"And why is it relevant to our fathers?" I asked.

"You girls all have smartphones, right?" Simon asked.

"Yeah, of course we do." Bailey replied.

"I want you to look up One Direction and look through some pictures. I want you to tell me if they look familiar to you girls." Simon explained.

Why is he being so vague about this? Anyway, even though Simon was being very vague about this, the girls and I did as we were told and looked up One Direction.

"Oh. My. Gosh." We all said in unison as we looked through pictures of One Direction.

"Our fathers were in a world famous boy band and they didn't tell us." Julie said in disbelief.

"I guess so." Ed replied.

"But why wouldn't they tell us about this?" Brittany questioned in confusion.

"Ed and I have no idea. A few months after the band split, they all went their separate ways. For awhile they went on to do solo careers, but that didn't last very long. We have no idea why, but Ed and I are assuming it has to do with the band splitting." Simon explained.
